Hey Cooksey i was there at the race and i can tell you for sure Hunter was just making it look good for the crowd, he literally backed off over a dozen times and it was clear as day. And to be fair it really amped everyone up in the arena. But yeah he was going so much slower on purpose it was easy to see.

I was at the Aus X Open. Webb dominated in the first moto. He looked really good, I was spewing when he crashed in the 2nd moto.
Deano's 3rd moto was awesome. But, the ride of the night, IMO, was Tate Reed. He rode really good, he was sending it over the jumps, and finished 2nd. He was stoked, lots of fist pumping after the race. The kid is tough, and legit. Anyone that doesn't think he has what it takes, doesn't know what they're talking about.
Kayden Minear won the 2nd moto in the 250 class, and Cole Thompson finished 2nd, but they were both robbed. A flagger waved the medical flag after the incident was cleaned up, right at the start of the rhythm section, she was the only one that waved the flag, and the 2 leaders got duped.
Keep an eye on Kayden Minear, he's only 16 and he's gonna be really good.

Hope he isnt banged up too bad, im sure he is down playing it like all of them do. A1 isnt far away and I want all these dudes health for it.

Jett never wanted to win he wanted to give the limelight to his brother , jett was not in race zone and could of got out there but was paid allready and left it to hunter , its not much more than an exhibition event

Fun Fact. The Aus X Open this yr was a world record crowd for any race outside of the USA. There were over 42K people there.
I was in a corporate box, it was so awesome. Kyle Webster (2024 Aus MX champ) was sitting right below me in the stands.
It was a great night. They don't let me out much.

In the 3rd race, once Hunter caught up to Wilson, he was only trail riding along behind him. Deano, was in a fight for the Championship and Hunter was in cruise control. It was only after Dean made a little mistake on the last lap that Hunter pins his ears back and goes ok, let's go.

What was Moss thinking? No Friese sh he decided to fill the slot cross jumping and taking people out like crazy.

I told the world that the brothers would be on top for a few years until the world changed up to their style. They caught the world off guard. The thing with innovators is they have to keep doing it. Plus. They have been riding a high for a few years and they are financially set now and it takes a special type of person to do it when they aren’t hungry for money or for many who are literally hungry.

Hunter was waiting for the pit guys to do the math and make sure Joey had the title clinched (or Deano had no chance at it)... before they gave him the ok to pass Deano. or Hunter was just playing with him for the crowd. either way it was plain as day he was being nice to Deano and holding back.

I love watching races so I really like this a little bit but I hate seeing our guys hurt before the supercross season. And if I may reiterate all these races don't hold a candle to American supercross here in the USA! Not a freaking candle the US has the best supercross racing in the world! Dont get me wrong I’m the one that always say All respect I have for last guy in qualifying because all of them are special and the few but those “Mini Supercross” 75% or more of big league guys aren’t there.

I'm willing to bet Cooper will be good to go for A1 and go for title #3.
