reminds us of the moto season where Jett and Hunter were on 250's and had engine trouble the same day. Hunters bike seized and Jett's smoked but finished. HRC had gotten greedy with the mods. they were getting great starts and pulling hills no problem - at the expense of reliability. one week later they both got bad starts and were getting pulled on the hills. it was obvious that Honda had them tweaked up and said - ok never mind that... lets just finish the races.

Maybe its karma,shouldn't of pinned the throttle for ten minutes when he won the championship!

Deegan rides on the rev limiter for the full 2 motos so ya the engine probably dont like that

This track is brutal on engines when you are trying to squeeze out every ounce of performance because of the altitude.

Bikes have to be tuned differently for altitude... just like 2 strokes have to be jetted differently for altitude.

The whole Factory Bikes thing as a concept is just dumb to me. Stock bikes are already so damn good. Make suspension ajustments, tweak the ergo's for rider preferences, but otherwise leave the damn things alone. The stuff they do to the engines is just dumb.

It happens the kid can ride but definitely gives the motor all it can take. He got beat so let's go to the next race😂😂

Broc Hepler used to override his 250 keeping it revved to the limiter even while in the air off jumps just like Deegan does and that bike grenaded a few times. Deegan needs to learn how to ride the bike properly and not abuse the engine..

What every non-factory rider feels each race, he has obviously forgotten what it means to be at the mercy of equipment! Give him a stock bike and see if he has what it takes to win. If he does than he is truly a great rider if not than he is average just like every non-factory or non-sponsored rider. Racing has lost its roots now its about the factory not skill involved, and to truly do that the need to be bikes off the consumer factory line. These one of a kind custom hybrids make racing about who has the most money, not skill. When races used to sell bike's, now everyone knows you cant go buy a race bike, race bikes are hand built for one riders skills. I want to see skill not equipment cost, win races! take the top 10 winners bikes to dyno and it will be ten bikes ranked from most to least horsepower, with two bikes switching position due to torque!

I believe it was just something that happened. He rides the shit out of that bike and they couldn’t even blow it up when he won the championship. It’s mechanical it will fail. And why did that reporter say that stuff about Tomac going to ktm? If it’s in the works the press don’t have to call it out at the post race interview.

I find it hard to believe that finishing second in both motors for second overall is a bad day I mean I get it but this is ridiculous and I don't recall him ever having an engine problem so he finished the race maybe he can adjust turning the throttle off once in a while while he's in the air but this is ridiculous it's a great day

Probably leaned it out too much a bit too much causing it to run hotter... That mixed with deegan redlining it and clutch dumping was just too much for the motor to handle lol

There’s something going on with there engines . Webb had a DNF because of engine failure and another one of there riders. It could be a bad run of parts but we will probably never know what the cause was.
