This is a fantastic legal thriller.
Professor John Bookman is a fine lawyer known for taking the side of the underdog. He receives a disturbing letter from a previous intern about a major client polluting the aquifers with fracking fluids. He and his beautiful current intern ride his Harley to Marfa only to discover his previous intern has been murdered. They stay to find out what happened.
This is a gripping tale and worth reading for the integration of the fascinating town of Marfa into the storyline.
This book is highly recommended.
