I can't thank you enough for this video. We're on day 5 with no power recovering from Hurricane Helena in SC. Our grill is literally the only way we have to cook meals right now. I was having the exact problem you described. I even got a new tank thinking the old one was faulty. After following your instructions, my grill worked perfectly. I just did this last night… for some reason I decided to turn the dial on the grill before I turned on the propane. I even thought to myself “self, why are you doing it this way? You never do it this way…” Well, the grill wouldn’t get hot and I had to air fry my salmon and stink up the house! I thought there was something wrong with the grill, I know I have enough propane. Thank you for this, I’m going to try it ASAP!

I tried this method and it didnt seem to be working because I continued to have issues. However, I realized that my regulator kept tripping because I was apparently opening the gas tank too quickly. I started opening my tank very slowly and no longer have any issues!

talk way too mUCH for something so simple......

Lol I've been using my smoker on low flame for about 3 years. Everything I smoke I like for the temp to be 225 but Wednesday it wouldn't even get to 200. Two days later I'm looking at this video like "wow" I would've never thought this. Changed my tank once thinking this then cleaned the burner. Also purged my line before every use lol. And to think all I was doing was turning it on fast lol. I noticed the click sound that it makes every time except this time great job
