Something about the sound of firing. It just gives me so much Nostalgia from all the video games and movies it was recorded in. So iconic, love that sound.

Getting the AR180 and the SPAS12 after Halloween? Missed opportunity to dress up as Arnie in T1 lol

Went to a gunshow, and some guy had one for around $3,800.00.

Hopefully a company can remake this iconic shotgun within reach of the working man someday.

I don't like them much I get why they are popular because of movies and games but reliability wise it's never been good

Benelli m3 is a better pump/semi

The Franchi SPAS-12 is the Holy Grail of shotguns? I... guess?

I built a pretty badass 870 that I still miss, owned an FN SLP, Remington TAC-14 with brace x2 when that was OK, have shot a full auto Saiga SBS, and now own a 1301 Mod. 2, owned and shot a bunch of Fudd shotguns and my hunting shotgun is an old-school pimped Remington Model 11, but OK. The SPAS-12 was the only one that I needed someone to teach me how to use (not use well; just use, period), and several of the features on it are completely pointless (like the hook).

I'll believe you and assume it's not an overcomplicated shotgun vs all the objectively better tactical shotguns I've owned and fired.

They're cool for the aesthetics, but it's an objectively a bad shotgun. I'd own one if I had craptons of disposable money. And that from a guy who's invested over $2500 on his 1301 and has an integral suppressed 10/22 that's almost $3000 in replacement value.

Buy a SPAS-12 because you want to LARP as the loser "professional hunter" from Jurassic Park who can't actually hunt, or the guy who gets smoked like a bih in the Matrix, but don't pretend it's a good tactical shotgun. Because it isn't.

And yes, I've shot the SPAS-12. The example I've shot is owned by a gunsmith and manufacturer (the same guy who built the full-auto Saiga SBS), and the thing failed to impress me. It ran completely reliably, and it was - as the kids say - a 'vibe", but it just wasn't "good" by my standards.

Sling attached to the stock. (In the still photo/frame. Before show start’s) above pistol grip it’s is place. Put it through that stock from earth side. Folder is free to move

This is the shotgun that's deaminised simply because it looks mean. People don't want it because it's apparently maire dangerous than a Benelli m3 or m4. They want it because it's in their favorite moves and videogames.same with the desert eagle. Favorite movies and videogames.

A local gunshop had one for $8k, that is in a blue$hithole state where pr-ban anything fetches a higher premium then the freestates. But still ridiculous.

Great video thanks for sharing. Nice score 👍 for your collection. I have some cool rare imports and Grail guns. I always love when people trash something in my collection. Not knowing I actually own a version of the gun they're comparing it to. The AK community is so bad about that elitism when you post about a lower tier AK. I'm more of a welcome to the club friends glad you got into the AK world nice first gun. I'm not like if it's not Russian or Meridian defense, Rifle Dynamics or Custom built on import guts it's trash and you not worthy of this thread. Good lord most of the people trashing a persons gun don't even have anything they list in their top tier AKM list like bro why just calm down LoL. I have some PSA/DPMS stuff in my AK collection and custom import numbers matching parts kit builds, 3 Russian AKM Vepr, Saiga and Izzy kit build, 3 Chinese Type 56 and a bunch more. I don't dunk on anyone I share with them how to build a collection as cheap as possible. Sorry for the rant lol enjoy your amazing Spas-12 watch out for those raptor trolls side attacks.

On BOTH my SPASs, I needed to pre-charge the system so that the trapdoor had only half of the spring pressure behind it. Pushing the trapdoor without doing this, meant that loading was a bitch every time.
I wonder why no one has noticed and mentioned this?

Yours appears to be an older model, you can tell by the larger SPAS 12 font on the receiver. But the trigger group is not the original that's been converted, it's a later factory made cross bolt. The originals had S and F stamped on them.
