I inhareted synthetic and natural gems I started to learn about them ...then I saw the world from a different perspective and everything CHANGED.

I got interested in geology discovered a cambrian volcano that is a kimberlite tube.....

Now I have all the gems I could ever imagine but experience in jewelry making I am crafty.... but.

All my profits are going to helping the world heal from narcissistic abuse, child abuse and neglect, elder abuse, and societal trauma starting in rural Uttar Pradesh India

@The_Stylish_Maker Hi! Do you ever find that the technique with crimping beads doesn't hold up/last? I want to make jewellery with beads/pearls but I'm afraid that the crimping bead is not "enough" or won't last

I see that you use a strong wire, which is good. I'm curious about a safety break away. Would that be incorporated into a clasp?

A safety break away is something that will prevent clocking if the neclace gets caught in something like fans or machinery.

I used to work in health care and our jewelry had to break away incse a patient pulled on it. It would not alwayds be a violent act, someone may have dementia, or delilum. It maybe a small child. The patient may grab on if they are weak and lose balance and panic. Anything worn around the neck had to break away.

As mentioned above some people work with various equipment that neclaces can catch. A break away would allow them to be fashionable and safe.

It's something to think about anyway. You know fashion and safety.

First time here and thank you. I have cidp and have numb hands so I can't hold on to earings so I can't wear them. I bought a pair of silver ones at walmart that have a long piece goes in your ear and I can wear those. I got silver ones never see gold ones. I got all the pliers years ago and never learned how to make anything or how to use all the pliers and tools I have. I want to learn.

Just started with bead jewellery making as a hobby after I had a small surgery and had to stay home for a month. Just subscribed and loving so far your videos! Just a question please and I hope you can answer. When do we use wire guards and when not to. Does it depend on the type of wire as I see you haven’t used one here with this necklace.

This is the first beading tutorial I’ve watched until the end as the others have been full of waffle (from other people, not your videos!) & I’ve come away with knowledge I never had! I’m busy struggling away with my first project using just my husband’s Leatherman tool & my old necklaces 😅

When I make a necklace using the crimping bead, I use a crimping pliers to pinch the bead closed twice. Once flat, then a second time pinched folded in half. Do you use a crimping pliers, too?

I am sort of new did you make it between knowing what supplies to buy and what I wanna try I watch the video where you’re like making your own chain and the first part it said bend it at 5 cm. What I don’t get is is the whole bracelet made from one long piece or or they put together somehow I feel like a dummy.

New to this sport, but I'm wondering if I can use some type of fishing knot with stranded wire to close on a jump-ring or closure. Of course it would have to fit through the hole in the bead. That might be the kicker.
