I come here for a shoot out!
ОтветитьThanks Vinnie. Very interesting video. I think it was outside a pub called the Brown Bear, in Leman Street, that the fight between Ronnie Kray and George Cornell took place.
ОтветитьNHS! a WOKE JOKE!
ОтветитьDidn’t know they had a straighter before the shooting, good show vin
Ответитьbabies outside shops in their prams! WOW! i remember them days even though im only 27ish!
ОтветитьGreat video Vin,keep them coming👍🏻
ОтветитьWonderful old boozer. Revolting modern carbuncles.
ОтветитьGreat concept with the topic of this series, very enjoyable
ОтветитьProblem is the builds today are never meant to last.
ОтветитьGr8 vid
ОтветитьI used to walk past that everyday when I lived behind the Genesis Cinema on the Mile End Road back when I was a student. Drank in there plenty of times. We should colloboate sometime Vinny?
ОтветитьToo much snooker!
ОтветитьI went in the begger whilst on leave in the 90,s i remember them red seats it was a dingy pub had air about it
ОтветитьI'm surprised the Blind Beggar isn't a Listed Building.
ОтветитьLots of orbs in this video
ОтветитьRonnie was a paedophile too.... Nobody will tell you that...
ОтветитьApparently Kray entered through the door of the gents toilets, back then it lead to a back alleyway but was later refurbed to a gents toilets
ОтветитьVery interesting.Thank you.
ОтветитьYou'd be shot in my pub putting your drink on the pool table!!
ОтветитьI went to the Blind Beggar whilst on a trip to London with my uncle a few weeks ago.
It was interesting to stand/ sit at the spot where the shooting took place although I was disappointed as I didn't see the bullet holes in the wall as pictured in a Google review of the pub.
Not been in the Beggar for years since i last worked that way in London. packed, one Friday night and definatley still a locals pub, White working class. Unlike Whitechapel which is mainly asian now but decent beer garden and one still had to be on ones toes still an edgy feel that it might kick off at any moment. Think the magar was maybe Polish, definately eastern european which surprised me. Yeah decent boozer with a formidable history.
ОтветитьI've heard rumors about the fight but not sure it's true as v few villains have mentioned it n ones that did hate the kray twins
ОтветитьOh dear
ОтветитьWhat kinda person shoots a fellow human being over a council house that's not his. Interesting vid.
Ответитьthe Blind Beggar pub is fabulous and so is the new building we like both
ОтветитьPlease check your info, George wasnt stood, he was seated at rhe time.
Also you're wrong saying Ronnie marched through the doors you pointed at.
He came through what is now the Gents Toilet. Please get the facts right.
I hate modern so called architecture.
ОтветитьYeah good video.... You look like Carl King from emmerdale btw..
ОтветитьThis was brilliant.
I never knew about the straightener. Fascinating subtext. Ronnie couldn’t win with his fists so resorted to using a gun!!
I could almost feel the ghost of GC standing behind you.
God bless this deceased man and his family too.
🙏❤️.x
Good job/video 👏👏 unlike many other members of the "firm". you dont often hear much about Ian Barrie. He obviously kept a low profile in his later years, and good for him at that. Thanks
ОтветитьHe didn’t walk in through the front door he walked through an entrance which is now the gents toilet.
ОтветитьBeen in the Beggar often. Dearer than the West End.
