Absolutely disgusting from our government, I feel so sorry for all of these students. Student should not have to pay for university considering the circumstances , ESPECIALLY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS.

First of all, international students should have the means of supporting themselves whilst studying in a foreign country. What do you expect during a global pandemic? Tough luck, go back to your own country. All the first world countries are full.

Universities don't even care about situation of student. They don't even ready to listen about our situation. They only concern about their fees. It's short of loot.

Good my son is not a international student I feel sorry for their parents but most of these kids ran away from their parents thinking tradition is BS and now they are living like cockroach yet the parents thinking our kids are great.these kids were selfish leaving old parents now face the music 🎶 freedom my azz 💀

Rubbish she is lying how can you let international students go through that. Because they are not British period. Universities can do whatever they can including threatened deportation.

My uni has threatened to kick me out of the course unless I cough up the full next semester fee while all education is being given online. No access to campus facilities. No access to dorms. No food. Nothing. Screw these guys.

Support the international students, if universities saw they are struggling than why not you aid them. Students are the backbone of the country's economy, but shame on those who never help them. So please save their lives and their parents hard earned money 🤝👉❤

Being an International student I have paid £22750 pounds. Its very tough to survive in this kind of situation. As these universities says they are supporting students with millions of pounds. I don't understand how? First of all their bursaries and scholarships are so hidden on their website that they are very difficult to find. Secondly you have to go through all the terms and conditions and criteria. Then you have to fill a form with is approximately 15-20 pages and add lots of documents ironically more than I needed for my VISA. Even after that you don't get response 2-3 weeks. I got response after 3 weeks demanding for more documentation. Also the fees I paid is not justified to the studies I'm getting. I thought I will study at uni while using its high tech lab as I can't afford high performance laptop. But now I'm stuck with my old laptop and trying to learn on that. University isn't even trying to help.

In England? Wait what? I thought England is a country considered a first world country!

Maybe when the pandemic just started, the response wasn't quick, however, it's been a year now and students still don't get support. Are they only waiting for people to contact them and then they'll make a move? So reactive and considering these students paid ahead to get into these schools.

The reporter has sympathy for Int, students but the women was very neutral and clear as well. There are some Int. Students who got help from any top English University in UK, and well care, and also the women mentioned that the Universities are paying double to work out the "online classes" for Int, students, so they can't just give back or lessen the fees of students that paid already. She also mentioned that some Int, students are afraid to ask help because eof the visa issues, ofcourse if the migration knows that you can't provide yourself enough money to study and stay in UK Universities that can be a problem for students as it is one of the requirements for Int. Students having a student visa.

The reporter are very sympathetic and also the women was neutral/clear about the University policies and matters about international students.

It’s really really tough on international students like some university costs 21,000 pounds a year which does not include the accommodation fees and “basic needs” such as food and drinks. They really need to reduce their prices cause it’s really high for students who don’t even work a full time job so where are we supposed to get all these money?? We cannot completely depend on our families for the costs :(

Well they committed fraud, a prerequisite to a British student visa is having the funds for your university and living expenses or a sponsor ie your parents. Coming into the country with the idea that your gonna make it work through working is absolutely illegal and a serious case of fraud.
