Basilisk fangs are venomous that it can even destroy horcruxes ;) and the sword of gryffindor was impregnated by the venom making it even stronger that's how goblin made swords are ;)

Great job with entertaining us with the build with lots of harry potter facts (without spoilders) I have seen the movies and read the books too many times to count. That tooth is very important since it is how he destroys the journal which turns out to be one of the horcrux.

I think this is a very interesting take on the basilisk creature. But I find it quite dissipointing that Lego included this scaled down version instead of including a more accurately scaled version in a future chamber of secrets set remake. But as always great video!

Awesome Basilisk, I remember it well from the Chamber of Secrets Book! great idea to build one as a toy, it reinforces the story, too!

The movie describes the snake as dark green. This isn't really what I was expecting. If the creators just watched the movie, the snake would be so much better. However, this is simple as for people to build at home. Although, I think this was a fail on Lego's part

I already built my own basilisk heh mine is bigger btw

That stock baslisks to me looks flat and very uninteresting, so I built it up and made some changes now it looks very sinister now. I no longer think to myself why did they add this. I love building up existing sets to look more complete.

It woulda been nice if you did actually take us through step by step the assembly process slowly also we can follow along and keep your hands out of the way do we can see what you're doing instead of you rushing through it and yacking on endlessly about the damn basilisk. I received one I bought on amazon that came without instructions and that's all I need not done stupid backstory on basilisk.
