Hey friend I called dr office today was told could take up to three weeks for my biopsy results that was rush on it thank you so much for being there for me and making vlogs i love to watch you helps me more than you know
ОтветитьI store similar can goods: tuna, black, kidney, navy, & catalina beans, can diced tomatoes, tomato paste, & pasta sauce. I can peaches, applesauce, and tomatoes. I freeze asparagus, green beans, corn, cauliflower, and tomatoes from local farms / garden.
ОтветитьI forgot to mention canned pumpkin for my dog 😄
ОтветитьWe always have some enchilada sauce on hand, some canned coconut milk and olives.
ОтветитьEverything you have, jam, enchilada sauce, plus some ready to dump meals in case of true emergency that we could eat out of the can if necessary.
ОтветитьAlso…..canned beets, artichoke hearts and coconut milk.
ОтветитьFruit, chicken, tuna, tomato products, corn, beets, mixed vegetables.
ОтветитьMelted peanut butter on apples, sprinkle a few chocolate morsels... yum!
ОтветитьGreat video. I store canned vegetables, canned fruits, extra condiments, canned tuna, canned chicken, canned soups.
ОтветитьGreat ideas on what canned goods to store, a few I hadn’t thought of to store! I like these helpful tip videos, thank you🙂
ОтветитьThanks for the tips. Personally, I don’t purchase canned soup for eating. I just don’t like the taste. I’m going to go through my pantry in my basement this week to check inventory and make sure I’m using everything. I usually do this in the spring and fall. My main items I like to keep are pasta sauce, canned vegetables and fruit, and tomato sauce.
ОтветитьI always stockpile the same ones as you do 😊 I always enjoy watching God Bless You ❤️
ОтветитьPeanut butter seems to get a smell to it after 3 mos. from expiration date. Do you think the Peanut Vutter powder would hold up longer? I have both in pantry, but ive started making cookies with the regular p.butter because of the smell. Thanks for any insight!
I stock most of what you showed, plus some canned spaghetti, ravioli, etc. I also stick pet food ahead.
All that pls green chilis etc for Mexican dishes
ОтветитьMy Marinara recipe that I also use for Pizza Sause uses 2 large cans of Tomato Puree & Petite Diced Tomatoes. I was running low on it and usually buy the Kroger brand for 1.99/28 oz so picked up 10 cans each today along with the great Barilla pasta sale @ .99! When the Barilla sale comes along, I am so thrilled to get kinds that are not sold at Trader Joes. I picked up many boxes of medium shells and mini penne for my homemade soups 😊 Always enjoy what you share ❤
ОтветитьEven though it's much more expensive, I'm trying to move to buying tomato products in bottles.
ОтветитьI feel good knowing I have all of those. I do need more fruit when I see a good deal.
ОтветитьI like to keep canned cream, jelly, spices and broths.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI only buy the things we enjoy. If I get something new I will try a can and go back to the store if we enjoy it before the sale ends❤
ОтветитьGreat stock pile on a budget yippee ❤❤❤👍👍👍😊😊😊
ОтветитьI’m buying soup because of you!😄
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьI have hundreds of cans of Chili, many different pastas and I have dozens of boxes of instant long grain rice, hundreds of Ramen packs and a lot of peanut butter,
as I don't want to be dependent on cooking any of my meals during "TEOTWAWKI". I have 11+ months of provisions, and naturally A LOT of water. Also, I have
eaten peanut butter that was 6 years old and was still good, and canned chili and pastas that were still good after 10 years.
I actually write the exp date on the FRONT OF THE CAN, not the top
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьIn the soup category I'd include broth (although we usually get the boxed version). We can't use the bouillon cubes due to the high msg content so canned works for us.
Thx for the video!
Can you remind people during a longer outage ...your go to 1st foods is those fridge, freezers cooking on grills. Do not pull out the cans...eat that defrosting food...feed tge block. We have feed the neighborhood 4 times. Turkeys, steak, hamburgers, ribs, veg, & yes even freezer breads...l go in smokers, propane stoves, grills. Get that food used. It's your first priority. If you can stress this when looking at your fridge - freezer. Know what's in there. How much it will feed how long it stays cool. And how much wood, propane- grilling coals, oils, containers, abd all the paper items needed to give that away. People need this, you need this. Be the giver. Never let food waste because hey I was eating from cans...such a necessary 1st thought in those outages. Be a great neighbor. Let all the neighbors know that is your choice even if you are not avail such as out of town. Cleaning a raunchy freezer, fridge is the worst Jon you will have. Get that food used as it defrosting. Make sure you tote up all those necessary items & room for the ice- gallon water jugs you freeze as well. Then leave a few totes for any fridge, freezer items it you need to bug out & camp...pull all that food. Never leave frozen & fridge food. Tote up, Bug out & feed anyone you need to.
