Beautiful fabric. I love the salt cellar! Enjoy your vacation. The water is relaxing.
ОтветитьBeautiful box! Love the fabrics. I so envy you and your vacation. So glad you both are having a good time! xo
ОтветитьGood morning Holly! ☕️💜 I am so happy to see your smiling face!! 🤗. I too love to bring all the things when my travel is a roadtrip! I like my Stuff!! 😂. Beautiful sounds, the water…..it’s just so nice to look out and see it, hear it, so relaxing. The Zen, gorgeous!!! Have a wonderful time 🥰
ОтветитьA very peaceful place to be. Enjoy.
ОтветитьThe view of the lake is beautiful, I hope you have a great time. The fabrics and wooden salt cellar are perfect colors for fall!
ОтветитьLove the view!😊❤
ОтветитьYou already look refreshed. I’m so happy for you to be in your favorite place.
ОтветитьLove the views of the lake.❤ Love the sounds even more. We are happy to finally have fall temps since it was 80* not that long ago in Minnesota! 😊 Beautiful box of fabrics and misc. Very fun but pricey. The salt keeper is pretty but also made from bamboo—not really worth the investment. I agree with your decision to let it go. What a lovely vacation. I’m a little jealous since we didn’t get up there this year. I also would move to that area if I fell into money!😂
ОтветитьLove your videos.
ОтветитьA little overpriced for me. Dont like the colors that well. Not my cup of tea. Hope you are well and relaxing. Bigs hugs!!!
ОтветитьEnjoy your time away! The fabric is beautiful.
ОтветитьYou packed your tv? And a chair? Is it the oversized comfy one next to the lamp in your sewing room? 😆 This is why I say, "Why would I want to leave my house? Everything I need is there." ( Including my 6x24 inch ruler!) Hope you're enjoying your time.
ОтветитьVery nice box however for the price not too sure unless it was a project I really liked. Thank you Holly enjoy your vacation.
ОтветитьGood morning Miss Holly, if my sewing machine was behind that beautiful view I’m fairly certain I wouldn’t get a lot of sewing done! You and Tom enjoy your remaining week of zen.
ОтветитьI have the wooden boxes but they are smaller. I use one for salt and one for pepper. I love them. I bought my daughter and daughter in law’s a set for Christmas last year and they love them also.
ОтветитьGood morning and happy Saturday! That vacation spot looks so gorgeous & restful.
Oh, a salt pig! I never knew how much I needed one until I started using a tupperware with a screw-top lid as one, and now I don't know what I'd do without it. So easy to get a pinch or a teaspoonful, plus no risk of too much coming out of the shaker & ruining the soup. Also since you don't hold it over a steaming pot while cooking as you might with a shaker, it greatly decreases lumps from forming. I have one for table salt, one for kosher salt, and one for sugar. The one included with the box is lovely; I think you're really going to like it once you start using it.
The notepad is very nice. I like the wood pattern on it, and the pages look big enough for a grocery list or doing the math on a project. Remember when real estate agents would leave notepads with their info on it at your door, like useful little advertisements? You never see that anymore, and I really miss it. What do you mean I have to buy my own scratch paper, LOL!! That mini quilt pattern is wonderful, and would look good in so many different colorways - heck, you could do one for every month of the year. Blacks & golds for New Year's Day, greens for St Patrick's Day, fall colors for Thanksgiving; they'd all be beautiful in that pattern.
And of course the star of the show, the fabrics. I love the colors (yes, even the mustard, which looks very nice in conjunction with the greens & browns). And yes, cinnamon & cinnabar are very different. Cinnamon is a spice, of course, and cinnabar is a ruddy-colored ore composed of mercury and sulphur, formed in volcanic areas. Interesting that they included it with the spice theme, but one has to admit that the color of it fits right in. Perhaps the person who collated the box didn't know what cinnabar is, either.
Holly, I am gently holding your face in my freshly-washed hands & looking you in the eyes when I say this, and I'm saying it with love. Keep. This. Box*. The fabrics are gorgeous and will be fantastic in any quilt you decide to make with them, the notepad is pretty *and useful, and you are going to love that salt cellar. You deserve to have nice things, and I believe you will regret it if you give this one away.
Oooh, the moment of Zen. That is a gorgeous shot of the moon through the trees! Thank you for sharing it with us.
Good morning Holly, love your view. Love the green for sure. The pattern so so. Enjoy your vacation. See you next video!
ОтветитьYour view is beautiful and calming. Enjoy!
ОтветитьHolly, beautiful view of the lake. Reminds me of northern Mi. which we loved to visit when we lived in the state. Charlevoix our favorite! The fabric box was nice but a little pricey. Enjoy the rest of your vacation…ciao Irene
ОтветитьNot much content for the price. Didn’t care for the colors either. Have a great trip. Xoxo
ОтветитьIs that Lake Superior Holly?
ОтветитьI have the salt box and love it. Cherrywood is too expensive for me when there are so many fabrics to choose from other shops.
ОтветитьI agree with you 100% on this box. The Cherrywood fabrics are gorgeous, but I am already getting the Grunge package each month, and I know I will use the Grunge a lot more freely than I would the Cherrywood, simply because the Cherrywood is more costly. Let's face it, EVERYTHING is more costly these days, but I'm like you - I would rather go to their website and pick out the colors I want when I have a project for them. What a lovely place you have to enjoy! Have a great visit and sew us some things you can show us later.
ОтветитьI love that box. You can keep banana chips in one side & small dog biscuits in the other side. Yes I have a dog Logan. ❤Holly you make me smile.
ОтветитьBy the way, in an earlier video, you mentioned that you had received a Soft Squares box and that it was huge. Well, I got the first one and then I knew what you meant - Wow, it's big and heavy! I thought it must contain both A&B boxes. But noooo ... the next day I got the other box, and it's not quite as big but also heavy. What all could be in those two boxes? It's going to be fun finding out. Yay!
ОтветитьI LOVE watching water waves 🌊 I ve been watching British Baking and an Australian crime show on Britbox... worried I might pick up an accent 😂
ОтветитьThose are pretty colors. The bowl is interesting. Really out of my price range. Such a beautiful view you have. Relax and enjoy.
ОтветитьLove your view! I live close to Lake Erie, so the waves are always so relaxing to hear. The little salt box is cute. The fabric is nice too. I do think the box is pricey. Thanks for the batting tip for the mittens. Enjoy your vacation! You look so happy at the lake. ❤
ОтветитьLove those colors salt container is beautiful. But the price is way out there, for someone on a fixed income. Have fun on your vacay
ОтветитьLove the moment of zen. That was a great wooden box, but you’re right about purchasing the fabric in colors you’d want with a project in mind.
ОтветитьYou look so much more relaxed and happy! Enjoy your time and thanks for what you do.
ОтветитьRelax and get some well deserved rest. Have fun shopping.
ОтветитьBeautiful box!
ОтветитьYou could put pins in the vessel
ОтветитьI really loved the colors in this box. Gorgeous fabrics, but pricey. If the price point was lower I would keep but 80 is steep. Happy vacationing. Enjoy!
ОтветитьAhhhhh….I could look at that everyday.
Have fun Holly!
What a beautiful place! Do you stay in the same house each year?
ОтветитьGreat views, looks so relaxing. Can’t wait to see the Xmas quilt you’re working on. I bought the same fabric. Have fun shopping.
ОтветитьI do love their fabric but I recently gave most of mine away. I never used it and felt someone else would enjoy it more. I do love the salt box though! Sunday Morning had a great show this morning on rock climbing and it's benefits with people with Parkinson's. It was very interesting. Enjoy your vacation. If i had a ton of money, I would also have a place somewhere up there. You look very relaxed. Stay safe. Love you lady! ❤
ОтветитьYou look so rested! This has been so good for you! Enjoy your time. Cherrywood…the last box was great…but some of the others have been a little bit meh.
ОтветитьLooks wonderful there Holly…..and you look so relaxed❤
ОтветитьAwwhhh Holly🥰
Thank you so much for this lovely video!!! I’m thankful that your travels were safe, I get it it’s a longggg day.
That box was nice!
Enjoy the rest of your time 🥰❤️😀
Hi Holly,
You look so happy, my friend. I love the fabric, but the box is quite expensive for my budget.
Have a great shopping trip tomorrow. I wish I could be there.
XOXO
Carol from down the road
Hi holly, I know your love for receptacles, though, I was beginning to wonder whether you had subscribed to a cookery box. Then the thread and the wonderful fabric came into view. I do muse about what goes through quilting box curators heads sometimes. Especially when it's quite expensive, why not just cut out the fripperies and give us the goods, so it's a little cheaper. So glad you are putting your feet up and resting, have a great holiday. ❤
ОтветитьAww, you look so happy and relaxed! Enjoy your time away❤
ОтветитьEnjoy your trip.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful view
ОтветитьSo beautiful and the water sound is lovely
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful place you are in! I have decided to try a 4th month of the Cherrywood box. I love the fabric and also appreciate the creativity they are using in combining the colors into themes and providing us gifts that are not necessarily quilting or sewing related, but are high quality and unique.
