This man, has to have multiple world records; one for this collection, another for meeting the most different athletes, etc! This is the most impressive collection of cards and sports memorabilia I’ve ever seen. Unbelievable! And the fact that this isn’t even half of the collection makes it even crazier! 10’s of millions of dollars worth of everything you can think of when it comes to sports history. Maybe even 100 million plus for his entire collection would be my guess.

Wow..... That was just an awesome sight to see: the memorabilia , the rare collection and the stories behind the accumulation of Joel's Platt's Sports Collection. I mean , not many , have Muhammed Ali's Mouthpiece or the death ball that supposedly beaned then killed Baseball player Ray Chapman (The only Major leaguer who died by a baseball injury...RIP Ray). Are used to collect cards for more than 30 years until I got scammed by dozens of people On Facebook and on whatnot, I realized that the same nobody cares about anything except the money… Realize how stupid people are spending what they do on a piece of cardboard that has no actual value to anyone’s life

Sports immortals is beyond a collection or even museum...its an archive. I remember seeing a documentary years ago about them and it had since been taken down. Awesome to see this.

Aside from theft, environment issues ( humidity, UV light, Insects ) Fire suppression should be of upmost concern in regards to protecting an accumulation of such one of a kind historical treasures. Hopefully the term vault is referring to these being housed in an actual Vault not just slang.
