That express plasma red is wildly vibrant that might be my new favourite red
ОтветитьGreen stuff world can get in the bin lol, Citadel/Vallejo for me please :)
ОтветитьGreat video Miss!
I think, in my own experience. That I just use a variety of all these brands, as there are better versions of different colors in all of them.
They all have there merits and bad points tbh. Altho NOTHING beats Vellejo Air Primers 😂
Nude skin dip looks like a gender reveal party gone wrong.
ОтветитьI use Artfly airbrush paint it took me ages to find a set I like using. Artfly arw my fo to paints but if am running low I will use Humbrol.
ОтветитьI choose you.
Ответить"Watch this before you buy anymore paint..." <looks at CLOSET full of thousands of paints>
Ответитьvideo gets a like purely because there is a bottle of red wine always in shot. Excellent
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьWow absolutely gorgeous. And the minis are nice too ;)
ОтветитьNow I want a ham and cheddar sammitch with marmite - thanks!!!
ОтветитьVery useful advice!!
ОтветитьArmy painter speedpaint looks sooo amazing. Ive heard so much bad about their paints but they look so great. I am sooo excited that I get to use them tomorrow!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьYour comments had me in stitches. "This one you can see from space...."
ОтветитьYou really do remind me of Wanda from Avengers haha
ОтветитьThe realisation that when you try to paint over speedpainted areas and the colour reactivated, IMMEDIATELY disqualifies them as an option for me.
ОтветитьBuy a set from one company and your favourite individual colours from the others. I have always found that there s no issue mixing them up. I personally use Speedpaints, but I supplement them with a handful of Contrast and Xpress paonts, but only because I like those specific colours. I haven't tried the Quick Dips though. The Speedpaint 2.0 are even better than the originals, and they were good, but there are still a couple that are just a bit... meh!
ОтветитьCan the wine be a good alternative to paint DG tentacles?
ОтветитьKiera is every part the Merida of Miniature painting & looks every bit the auburn haired Celtic princess
ОтветитьI have to say that this video made me wonder about it's content: when I started watching it, the first thing I noticed out of everything on the table was the LARGE bottle of wine. I was hoping this wouldn't be like another Rachel Ray show. Glad it wasn't.
ОтветитьGreat video ❤
ОтветитьGreat vid! Ooof! The A.P Speedpaint Zealot is not pure yellow, its orangish-yellow. Use the Maize or Pastel for clearer yellow. I did the same mistake, READ the true color description on the lower-right on the Speed Paint 2.0 bottles 😆
ОтветитьI paint 1/32 People. Scalextric / SlotCar figure's which are much smoother that the Miniture's on this review. I've found some of the darker colour's of the Contrast paint's, don't contrast ! Just bought some Speed Paint {10 lighter colour's + Crusader skin) and am very pleased with them. I've discovered it's best to paint a 'skin colour' first then use the speed paint for a good Human skin colour. Painting on to white isn't that good. I've learnt to LOOK AT THE COLOUR'S rather than go by what they are called as I'm painting human's & clothing. I prefer using the speed paint to the Citadal Contrast as it gives a smoother covering, although I don't coat my figure's as heavily as the reviewer does. (Maybe something to try ?)
Ответитьwtf greennstuff haha
ОтветитьI dont understand the different type of paintings and paint types can someone please help brand new here
ОтветитьI'll say that most of dipping inks are awesome and they re half the price than others.
Contrast paint well they are the OG thing and pretty good in general but a mess since they don't make difference with the different kind of contrast they have and you need to be an expert to know how each ones behaves.
Speed paint... Nope reactivation issues and too much spent on a their mega set for something I won't never use due to this big failure.
Xpress colors , cool ones but too matte for me
I appreciate the wine break, that's exactly how I paint!
ОтветитьI really like working with the Vallejo Xpress paints and they've expanded their range with a lot more colours now. The reason I prefer them is they have a longer drying time which for me, makes them much easier to work with. I've never quite got on with Contrast as it tends to dry before I can correct everything, leaving visible brushstrokes. That'll come down to my style of painting and the Vallejo range just compliments my slow style.
ОтветитьEste video no tiene desperdicio, lo he visto varias veces y se que volvere a verlo en el futuro. Gracias, muchas gracias.
ОтветитьThat Green Stuff World is as garbage as expected.
I don't even know why you'd even give them the time.
Thanks a lot! It helped me to decide and across the board my faves were the Speed Paints!
ОтветитьI say mix and match, most importantly know how to use what you have to the max... I say this after buying a Mega Set of Army Painter while continuously using The intro set from Army Painter & Citadel and now Vallejo.
ОтветитьI'm saving up my hobby money for a 3-D printer
I got really into blacksmithing recently and blew a ton of cash on specialty steel alloys.
Grete vale for me i think saaw 3 ot of 4 i have acces too
ОтветитьFrom the bottle??
ОтветитьI'm a simple man, I see a beautiful red head on the thumbnail, I click
ОтветитьI personally prefer the Vallejo xpress line. Army painter is good, don’t get me wrong… but their reliability, consistency, and dependability is sketchy as hell. My $400 set of speed paint 2.0 from army painter had almost every bottle just explode even with side squeeze to avoid the steel ball being in the tip. My set before those had the obvious issue everyone had, with reactivation. My Vallejo xpress are flawless, and all work straight out of the bottle.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for this guide!
ОтветитьGreat video. Love the format. One of the neat things is how all the paint ranges are all different, but in good ways. Lots of choices.
ОтветитьThe advantage of drinking from the bottle is you're less likely to accidentally dip your brush in it!
ОтветитьWhen i saw them all i was like shit I need all of them
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. I'm just getting into miniature painting and this really helps me with my paint choices, especially as a beginner.
ОтветитьRumour is that next year, GW is moving to dropper bottles
ОтветитьThis review is great! And yes, wish there was a Speedpaint 2.0 comparison.
ОтветитьThe Vallejo purple looks good. They give a very matte finish though. Maybe finish with a semi-gloss spray coat?
ОтветитьWhat are your favourites and what do you think of speed painting techniques and colours?
