Snow white and huntsman was a disturbing horror

How is it that I can enjoy and understand the chemistry between Snow White and the Evil Queen with the Queen’s motivations of being beautiful and young far better in this movie more than I can understand Mother Gothel’s half-an-hour screentime with Rapunzel and a silly golden flower in Tangled?

i’ve loved this movie since it came out, and while i’m super excited for the disney version and I think it’ll be good, this will always be my favorite adaptation 💛💛

This is the perfect Snow White remake, is not outdated in any way. Snow is charming and kind just like in the original version, but also smart and cunning, perfect for modern standards. The Disney remake is not needed at all.

I just came from rewatching the movie. And man I’ve almost forgotten what a surprisingly beautiful reimagining this is. Boy I won’t forget as a high school senior that having two Snow Whites coming onto the big screen in the same year would be a joke.

Tarsem Singh seriously needs to make a comeback with another fairy tale movie again for the new generation, like maybe the Six Swans or an accurate live-action version of the Snow Queen fairy tale. The way he crafted this version of Snow White with such creativity and symbolism as well as Snow White’s character development is just gorgeous, badass, hilarious and brilliantly written.
Disney is decaying with disappointing live-actions and sequels these days.
