i really miss bodykits, when i go to carshows these days most everything is the same, stretched tires, slammed cars with wheels that are way to big for them and a bunch of cars that are barely driveable.
ОтветитьRIP to my 2002 Honda civic with a wings west body kit. So much money spent on that car but it was worth every penny 😬
ОтветитьI have a 04 impala. Its clear coat is starting to peel, its body design is very hohum, but the engine they put in those things is immortal. I’ve been toying with the idea of playing around with her looks but I’m not a big car guy so i have no idea what’s out there. Anyone have any ideas?
Ответитьbody kit the lotus elise and gti in NFSMW
ОтветитьThe thing about body kits is that most of them look good from far but most are far from good.
Ответитьi love bodykits it's just that nowadays everything wanted to be a rocket bunny copy cat every manufacturer only produce bolt in bodykit with bolts all over the body in sucks i miss those seamless bodykit panels but they're dead
ОтветитьLegit widebodies were THE talk of 2023, like every person had or wanted a car with a bodykit, and the second 2024 hit they disappeared, I havent seen a slammed or bodykit car at a car show since 2023
Ответитьyou left out the 1989SEMA explosion/implosion of the MINI TRUCK GROUND EFFECTS !! in less than 2 years ,3 friends, RATICAL/MILD TO WILD and colorado customs , went from making millions and a giant SEMA spectical to sueing eachother out of business😂! all i did was design[@30]/ make the molds and run production. something was wrong with them, they ran more ADDS in minitrucking magazine than articles or pics and i think went to court over it! i came this way because i have a job on a ford 150 to do ground effects and they are garbage. so i googled what happened to car body kits and put out there if anyone want the techniques i use i'm sure you'll have happier customers , perhaps paid more !! i'm getting ready to retire and the least i can do is help the industry i love 🤣
Ответитьhaven't watched yet but ill say this before. Most people aren't going to be paying 30k+ to get a body kit and do it right. Its difficult to do you need some serious time. A whole slew of tools and a lot of cash. All to then be the biggest cop and thief magnet on the road. This coming from a 13 STI widebody hatch owner
ОтветитьThe body kits and kits that make your car look like a luxury or expensive car disappeared becasue of monopoly, the companies that control the market destroyed the other companies like "vaydor body kit" so you need to pay 60k-200k for a sport looking car when really they worth between 20k-30k max.
ОтветитьI still have a veilside body kit on my eclipse.
ОтветитьNobody has money anymore
ОтветитьI really want body kits to come back to make modern cars LESS aggressive. To make the front bumper vents less chopped up, delete those enormous non-functional diffusers that so many cars come with (looking at the M3 as a particularly bad offender), and just overall remove fake aerodynamic features and clean up the designs. Who knows, maybe some day, with some money, I'll be the change I want to see.
Ответить2003 Camry body was nice
ОтветитьDefinitely not into the bodykit thing honestly I don’t like anything too egregious maybe an aftermarket front bumper n spoiler to call it a day or if allowed something oem like the racing divisions
ОтветитьI still have ACTUAL body kits, not the fender flares from autozone crap, & im more partial 2da molded kits ....they just looked cleaner
ОтветитьI have had some form of body kits on most of the cars I have owned. I currently have a Nissan 370Z with a full Amuse body kit on it except for the wing spoiler which I don't like. I have always seen them as an improvement to the style of the car which the designers fell short of. Even on my current 370Z which has a full kit there was still a need for a rear spoiler since Nissan put this strange hump on the rear hatch where the third brake light is. It is almost like the designers invite body kits rather than incorporate them into the design.
ОтветитьI’d take a bone stock s2000 any day
ОтветитьGround effects in the 80s existed first to make a vehicle look lower. Body kits were made in the 90s to add more room for a front mount intercooler. If you had a kit and no turbo you was a poser in the 90s. Widebody kits came out in the 2000s to add wider wheels for drag racing cars. Again if you didnt add power you are a poser with a stock engine and spacers.
ОтветитьI will always be modding the exterior to my cars till the day I die
ОтветитьShould of got a gti
ОтветитьI would love to see someone make the Mantis kit for the R34 Gtr in real life. I can understand that the very few owners would want to cut the quarter panels on a rare and expensive car, but there are GTRs out there with wide body kits, and I think the Mantis kit looks way better than any of them.
ОтветитьI had a dodge neon tricked out with a blitz kit
ОтветитьI was really shocked when realized, that the civic in the Bomex body kit is from Ukrainian Civic and the video made in Kyiv
Ответитьjust waiting for my wide body kit for a Honda Fit from vis racing
ОтветитьAs long as you have the wheels to fender fitment rite I say the wided the better.
Ответитьwide body the world
ОтветитьWhat happened to body kits? Well people cancelled them
ОтветитьSo no one is going to talk about the absolute banger playing in the background? I need to know the name
ОтветитьI raised my hand so hard just now. Games got me into cars, but the passion died way back when I was little and couldn't play them much. Fast-forward to now, and I can do what I want to, and I want to love cars again. Thanks for the amazing content back to back.
Ответить2000’s was techno car era🤣
ОтветитьI've been waiting for a Body Kit from Driven by Style for over a Month. I'm getting pissed
ОтветитьBody kits were before F&F, the movie just escalated the movement. If you're from that golden era, you'd remember.
ОтветитьBody kits transformed into "fender flares" 😂
ОтветитьLove the watch I got one that does the same 😂 some times when I'm working it buzzes and says your in the zone 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI personally miss the body kit times when people would actually make the same car look different from one another. Now days it's either a front lip or you go wide body nothing in between
Ответитьi had a lot of trouble finding a body kit in australia for my ek1
ОтветитьDid someone say runescape
ОтветитьI still love body kits. I love rocket bunny nowadays and I miss veilside..
ОтветитьStill want a rocket bunny for my na miata
Ответитьif nobody got me, i know walmart tom holland got me😤👌
ОтветитьWhat are you talking about? Bodykits are more prominent than ever.
ОтветитьThe annoyed fahrenheit angiographically knock because quarter cumulatively paste following a slimy cup. addicted, chunky underwear
ОтветитьBody kit video without a single mention if the fiero! Its THE body kit car
ОтветитьYou've come a very long way since you ,started.
But I have to say, this is just like Donut. Trying to hard to be funny.
To many automotive channels are doing the exact same thing , and what WAS, different once is now very annoying, to listen to.
I had to stop little after half way mostly because I was writing a comment.
Body kits declined ,do to ripping off designs like Rocket Bunny, and then you have the high costs of kits such as Rocket Bunny.
And the rise of painting has gone way up.
