How is the armrest in the driver's door? In the 2020 RAV4 that I sat in, it felt sloped downward and wouldn't allow me to rest my elbow comfortably.

The design is so square. Ugly and that blue color is a horrible thing. The old RAV4 used to have a stiff suspension.

Yesterday, in my car I was on my phone and I saw a giant brown/orange spider where my arms was and I got scared and backed away from the place the spider was and I was freaked out, so I was whimpering and almost cried like a baby 😂 So, they cleaned out the car, and I kept making a joke about the spider thingy 😂

In my P.O., this vehicle has become too fancy and too expensive through the years. I'm sure they have improved many things, but it lost that cool "off-roady-Jeep-like" look it had with the rear tire on the back (last seen in 2012). I wanted a bigger car than what I had and decided to buy a manual Subaru Crosstrek instead of this...and I am SOOOOO Happy! > Hey!, at least this Rav4 doesn't have a CVT!

Have they improved the comfort? Toyota still ranks as TOP as the most uncomfortable seats I’ve ever sat on. Last in one in 2016. There’s no doubt that Toyota is reliable so I’d love to own one, but I can’t get passed the uncomfortable seating.

I think I prefer exterior of the 2016-18 tbh. It was a little odd, but this one looks unfinished unless you get the adventure trim lol.

I've got a 20 RAV4 XLE. I love everything about it. Material quality and fit and finish are good. The powertrain is great, I think. The acceleration is effortless at all speeds, which isn't something I was expecting coming from a turbocharged vehicle. The only thing I'd want is more sound deadening for road noise. Wind noise and engine noise are non issues.

What about tiny 7" infotainment screen and thick bezel and frame around the screen ? For such a great SUV, why Toyota can't make screen size 8" or more and reduce bezel/frame around it ?

Add a chime to the blind spot system. Just the flashing light isn't enough Toyota. Until then it's going to be a deal breaker.

If the infotainmente felt dated in 2018, imagine how it feels in 2021. Toyota seriously needs to update it.

Wife has an XLE Premium... I HATE the seats... Legs are numb anywhere you go... Seats are too short for taller drivers.

Got a new 2022 XLE Premium because it checked all my boxes. This is definitely a value for money suv for medium height 1-2 occupants. For us, it didn’t work quite well when we wanted to do road trips with 4 adults + 1 infant.

It feels cramped when all seats are occupied. Luggage space is adequate for 1-2 people after second row. You will get weird reflection in your side mirrors, and I wasn’t sure how to get rid of it.

This is probably the best compact suv and value for money. I traded it with a more standard size suv ‘Jeep Grand Cherokee L Overland’ which was twice as costly as my RAV4 and I am in completely love with it but my RAV4 was definitely a smart choice for up to 2 people.

1) The noisier revs he mentioned are only apparent in ECO mode, very reasonable in SPORT mode 2) I have yet to see a drive mode where to change it you don’t have to take your eye off the road 3) Adaptive cruise is excellent. I love this vehicle and although and comparing it to a Ford Escape is a huge insult

I have 21 RAV4 LE going on three weeks with it n I’m enjoying it so far! I think the Honda CRV looks like the storm trooper from stars wars!

Yeah it’s super hard to change the driving mode. What a doofus!! 🙄

Gotta disagree with the confort. Center console is way too big and the steering wheel doesn't raise high enough for taller folks like myself. You end up with your legs pushed together and the wheel in your lap. I love the previous models though.
