Star Trek: Lower Decks The Movie?

it's just got so much rewatch value, think ive seen each season 4 to 6 times.

Star Trek legacy is a show we really want....what if the 4 lower decker's crew ended up getting promoted to say, uh, I don't Know, serving on 1701-G?!?

It's also not like the quality of the show has dipped in any way. It has only gotten better and funnier as time has passed. It feels counterintuitive to cancel something with such a rabid fanbase. Something that breathed new life into Star Trek and brought in plenty of new fans. My kids were never into Trek until Lower Decks. Now they like to see the things that the show references for themselves.

It was the only thing I genuinely liked about the Star Trek revival, and I really hope they keep it going.

Lower Decks, a show so fun,
Season five will be the last one.
But there's still more, yet to be seen,
Maybe a movie on the big screen!??

The cast shared stories with delight,
Of adventures that shine so bright.
A new episode they did show,
With the Cerritos on the go.

Mirror Universe with a twist,
Rutherford's kids? They do exist!
What's Tendi's fate? We'll have to wait,
To see what's on her dinner plate.

A giant targ, oh what a sight!
Will Kronos be their next big flight?
Lower Decks brings laughs galore,
Star Trek fun we all adore.

Though the show may say goodbye,
Its legacy will never die.
With humor and heart, it's plain to see,
Lower Decks made history!

Have to say, I have an enormous amount of respect and appreciation for anyone / channel that does a real spoiler warning. It shows they respect their fans, and are building the kind of trust that ensures they'll get the views regardless.

It's sad that it's going to be the last season but I wounder if they do a revival of the animated show they should call it star trek upper decks where they continue the fivesome as they accelerate in rank

Lower Decks totally needs a movie or some sort of follow up. I just love the show and the cast.

Star Trek: Lower Decks is ending because the premise doesn't apply any more. At the end of the season, the announce Star Trek: Upper Decks (or maybe a better title!).

Just like the great coverage on the channel, Lower Decks cannot be COMPLETELY finished

I just noticed that the alternate Cerritos crew uniforms are slightly darker than the Prime versions, kind of like when they did live-action on SNW. It’s most evident in that screenshot of Prime Rutherford hugging Alternate Rutherford.

Spacial fissures...reminds me about the mess that is going on with them in STO's current season, and makes me wonder if things are being reworked there

Seeing all of them together is also bitter sweet considering animation voices rarely record together these days. It’s very likely they hadn’t met outside any crew parties, etc.

Will Tawny be portraying Mariner in her live-action Star Trek comedy? Assuming it'll be greenlit.

Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds have been really good. They are the only reason I keep my Paramount plus.

Live action lower decks full cast would fucking rule.

I just hope the alternate Mariner plot isn't another "Mariner realizes she should shape up and be a better officer" plot.
At this point the series feels like a judgmental mother constantly telling Mariner she's not as successful as other kids. Like, we get it. We've seen Mariner have this revelation a dozen times already.

They could follow TOS example and do an animated version?

I'm just hoping the ending of Lower Decks is just a misdirect for Star Trek Upper Decks

Does anyone know if the Lower Decks' season posters can be purchased anywhere? I love how they pay homage to TOS movies.

I would love to see Star Trek adopt a structure similar to Tokusatsu shows like Ultraman and Super Sentai: do the show then drop at least one post-series movie minimum

Lower Decks is my favorite Star Trek show. Sucks that it's ending. On the bright side, once the season ends I can cancel my Paramount+ sub.

I could totally see a prequel series about Tendi as the mistress of the winter constellations. Kind of a John Wick thing there.

I had very low expectations od lower decks as while I watched discovery,strange ne world and picard I dislike most of them other than picard season 35 and season 1 of strange new worlds,
The singing one killed the series for me,
Lower decks was not as bad as I feared as I thought it would be like Rick and forty which I dislike but it's okay especially when legacy characters appear,Alec kirkman has ruined star trek though and his friends with russel t davies who has ruined dr who, both need a fresh reboot on a channel that respects but wirh new showrunners who respect the legacy somethingbwhichbdr who,star trek,star wars,Indian Jones have suffered,

I would prefer it be animated, though maybe there could be a moment where they encounter their live action counterparts...
