In response to the "Choir Master": Notice that "Love" is capitalized, meaning that Love is the personification of Jesus. In other words, "Hold onto Jesus". God is love.

In these times, we need to be careful to sing the name of Jesus as the source of love because as pretty as this song is, it can be interpreted politically in all kinds of directions. I am a Music Minister and would like to use this song for mass, but I would have to find a way to sing the Lord's name in it to identify that Jesus is the source of love.
