I love how they're talking about how oh if you tell people that we failed I'll kill you and stuff like that, when there's an entire book full of times where the foundation has failed. My personal favorite is of course when all of the world was consumed by the anti-memetic scp god-like thing. or when the world ended in the foundation had to literally repopulate the world using cloning chambers.

The Factory

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Only the O5 Council have access to the knowledge of SCP-001. To prevent lower-clearance staff from discovering the true SCP-001, the file is protected by a memetic kill agent that will cause immediate cardiac arrest upon seeing it, followed by death. Only memetic inoculation given specifically to the O5 Council members will prevent death from the kill agent.

In addition, many false SCP-001 files have been created alongside the true SCP-001 file. These files contain many different SCPs, some real and some not, and each of them are also protected by a memetic kill agent. Finally, all SCP-001 files have an alert system that will alert the O5 Council when a SCP-001 file has been successfully accessed.

SCP-001 itself is surrounded by Site Alpha, a classified site that only the O5 Council have access to. Automated turret systems have been set up to eliminate anything unauthorized to enter Site Alpha. The turrets will also neutralize anything that emerges from SCP-001. To date, no anomalous creatures have been discovered in or around SCP-001, and the turrets have yet to fire a single shot.

The remains of any D-Class personnel are to be transported to SCP-001 by an O5 Council member. The Council member will leave the remains near the entrance of SCP-001 and immediately leave. Two days after, the same Council member will return to Site Alpha to ensure that the remains are no longer there.

In the event that the remains of the D-Class personnel have not disappeared, the O5 Council is authorized to bring additional living personnel. The automated turret systems will be programmed to not attack any personnel brought to SCP-001 with O5 permission. The Council member will leave the personnel they have brought with them at the entrance to SCP-001, before locking down Site Alpha to prevent escape and leaving the area immediately.
