Narcs like Cody are clueless to basic principles like cause and effect. Their ego have a false belief that they are perfect and better than everyone. They are too weak to admit any wrong doing since this breaks their fragile sense of their 'perfect self'. I can spot these folks quicky, after a few interactions at most and stay very far away for my well-being. Too many previous narc bosses and others to count in my past however, I have officially ended my cycle with people who display this behavior. Until you understand why you continue to 'attract' these people (most likely childhood wounds) and accept the part you play (seeking the Narcs approval, thinking you can fix them etc.) it will probably continue like a vicious circle until you recognize the patterns and heal youself.

I believe that Robin is starting to understand that she is repeating her Narc cycle that started with her dad. I would bet good money her ex husband was also a Narc. She is unfortunately is still in her denial and delusional stage of thinking Cody will change. They don't change folks, trust me I've tried 😂
