Sonic 4: The 7 COMPLETED Special Stages - ALL CHAOS EMERALDS

Wow. These stages are more of a mind-f*** than Sonic 06.

What system is this one on? The music sounds amazing compared to my WII ver.

Which stage does the ring for the 7th bonus stage pop up after?

@AnimeNex When you complete the first 6 just go into any act that you haven't completed a special stage for. Then you'll be in 7.

@crunchvx None, really. It borrows stage ideas from Sonic 1 and 2 mostly, but physics and gameplay-wise, it didn't feel like either to me. The homing attack is another big reason it felt totally different.

I am so stuck on the 5th one. I keep running out of time.

@BioEngineeredAlien Stage doesn't matter, when you complete a special stage the next special stage will become avaliable.

heres a tip if you only have a second left just press start then retry (it restarts the special stage at no cost)

@FloatGames Yes it does. For wii, you don't unlock another special stage after you do the first. You need a list of which stage its on. Like casino night zone or Dr. Eggmans base (not E.G.G. station) and Splash hill zone. You need to FIND the stage before you can play it on stage select.

@TheSonicfan55 Actually, it doesn't matter. Only requirements are you need 50 rings before the end of a stage, and it has to be done on a stage where you have not already obtained a Chaos Emerald. E.g You got you're first Chaos Emerald on Stage 1 SPLASH Zone, so you are unable to do that stage again to get Chaos Emerald Two. You can get you first Chaos Emerald in the Lost Labyrinth zone stage 3. Emeralds are not assigned a specific stages.

This may or may not be useful to anyone, but here's the order of levels I used for getting each emerald:

1. Splash Hill 1 (first level)
2. Splash Hill 2 
3. Mad Gear 1 (this is the hardest level on the list, so get this out of the way for either the first or third emerald. The second one has some red "!" so I use this level for the third emerald)
4. Lost Labyrinth 2, Mine Cart (easy level)
5. Casino Street 1 (this special stage is hard, but first Casino street is easy)
6. Splash Hill 3
7. Casino Street 2, 100,000 Challenge (save the easiest level for last, since the special stage is a pain...)

I RESTARTED my game because I save the hardest levels for the final special stage, and it was to hard to even get to every time, even with the pause-retry feature, because if you hit the red "!" you can't retry. Good luck!
