I really wanna start doing this because I'm so bad with money and I'm always broke. I already watched this once but I think I need to watch a few more times to fully get it. I feel dumb but I don't wanna give up.

Another way you can guess how much variable expenses you need is by checking your bank statements from the past three months. It will take time to go through, but you can see how much you are spending on average. Example: Highlight all expenses related to getting groceries. Add them all together. Then, divide by 3, and that will give you an average, and you can base your budget off of that.

Very interesting. One thing I thought of is I am in my mid 60's and have had a manicure done in a shop just once in my life.

I deprived a little, but was consistent with the journey on a monthly basis.

I really enjoyed this, not many content creators actually explain how to start cash stuffing or even what you need to prep before trying to plan a budget. I gotta say thank you for this - very informative.

I do cash stuffing but I do it online I just started and so far so good so what I did was I got cashapp, chime, Venmo, PayPal, SECU, Truist Bank and Navy federal bank accounts and each week I put a certain amount of money in each account the checking and the savings accounts for the actual banks the only account I’m allowed to spend out of is cashapp I pay all my bills with my cashapp card and what I do if I have cash I load it to my cashapp card and disperse the money throughout the other accounts I want to try to start doing the cash stuffing book alongside my online cash stuffing

And that my friends is how it's done. If I were to grade you on this vlog, it would be an A+.

I'm so confused! I put things like car tabs and real estate taxes, etc. in with bills. I thought you budgeted down to zero--all your money after bills and variable expenses should be gone. Where do you get money for sinking funds?

What if you need gas on a no spend day? Or an emergency?

How about recieving money that is rightfully ours to begin with? Definitely not putting in envelopes, any money. Use a cashbox, instead.

Hello, I have job positions that include rank on my company for individuals that can train this method of budgeting for contractors and employees and administrators at Young And Smart Company Including All Subsidiaries and acquired companies where our company alotts spending and investing accounts while doing so as the company for those that earn those privileges however they must also send in receipts and sometimes requisition forms in to the accounting and bookkeeping team. I'm a fan for liquidity in cash and for multiple currencies and our policy is instead of directing the company owner or executive leadership or management board on how best to suit the needs of the employees and staff and personnel when the owner makes financial decisions, do what they want to the best of your ability in your position while using company money. It shows accountability and responsibility with company resources provided and makes the company aesthetically pleasing to the employer, clients, potential clients and other team positions. Everyone must also accommodate to the compliance dress code and hygiene for the presentation for the corporate identity including clean fingernails and clean toenails, clean ears, washed and other requirements and this especially important when handling cash or coins and to limit spreading germs. Would you entertain accepting a position such as this with training cash control and cash, debit and credit management to employees and Contractors that use resources with the corporate name and identity as a marketing tool when spending?

Most of my bills come out on the first. So I take half of my bills out of each of my paychecks so that I'm not spending a whole paycheck on bills. That was the problem I was having that made me start budgeting because that whole check would be gone in one day

I don't cash stuff. All of my bills are on auto pay. I still don't end up having money at the end for savings or to go out. Not sure what I was doing wrong..

I just started using a budget binder and I was initially confused about going about it, but my main priority was bills. It’s been amazing to actually see where I am putting my money into. I came across your video and it’s been so helpful with understanding the process. Thank you for uploading!

I'm so glad you came up on my feed. This is so interesting. But my head is spinning, after watching all this. I make $17/hour, in Southern California. And I'm enrolled in community college, to study for a well-paying skill/career (starting over in life, at age 51). And i hope to be making way more money, in maybe a year or so. So this may be difficult for me to do rn. But I'll see what i can do. Thanks for the information & inspiration!

My question is do I need to separate the money for paying my bills and my personal accountant? If so, how do I do that or do I just mark it in the journal and double check it in my checking account. I do a lot of things digitally we pay all our bills onlineyet would like to have it categorized somehow.
Also, do you pull cash out at the bank or how do you do that?

I dont cash stuff my bills because i pay them by direct debit and kept not depositing the cash in time and then going overdrawn when the bill went out 😅 so glad to hear you say I can leave that part out for now. They are on my budget but not in my cash stuffing wallet and that seems to work for me. I am not in a financial position to work towards being a month ahead as I'm in the home stretch of paying off debt and need to build an emergency savings fund for all my expenses as I am having some job insecurity

how do you know how many 1,5,10,20,50 dollar bills you’ll need when getting money out of the bank? i will have extra to put into saving challenges so is there a certain way to pull that money out?

What this means is make sure everyone is saving cash from the beginning. Which means, we all have money. Let's be honest, towns have been monopolizing and should not have. Colorado has a building that makes alot of paper money every year. We all know we been using plastic cards and seen less cash. That should not be the case. Where the hell is all that money at??? Lets give US back their money.
