If the dev implements the npc giving the can back, he should also implement a can health factor limiting the number of cannings it can do. Avoids infinite cans and keeps you looting.
ОтветитьLet the poor sod eat, there will be more than enough food.
ОтветитьMaybe ask the dev if he can create a player only container that the NPC can't access.
ОтветитьCan you use the Crate Rack in the Town Hall?
ОтветитьYou should ask the dev to include more than one NPC. I like games like this, but also kinda wish they had more NPC's to deal with. Someone to get the mining stuff, someone to help build, someone to make food, etc.... I don't like the idea that your the only one left and no-one else is around besides one other guy.
ОтветитьSo did you go back and tell Mike to care for the garden because he was doing stone. Lol love Infected..❤
ОтветитьIf you don't want Mike to eat something just put them in a normal storage crate
ОтветитьBy stacking up the chest you can put 16 on each side wall and Mike will never be able to fill it all up because you will take the rotten food to make bio-fuel with. You should plant only 3 potato's 4 melons and then split the rest with corn and cucumbers.
You may want to have 2 each for water melons and pumpkins. Mike can not eat very much each day once you get what I posted. This way you will have everything you need to make any type of food you want.
Do you need winter clothing for Mike?
Also look at getting an Animal Farm for raising animals as it will give you meat and eggs plus the livers from the animals.
It would be cool if you could raise horses for two things, one for food and making glue but also be able to make a horse and double horse and cart which can hold a load of storage, and is better than the ATV
I was trying to make the smaller MRE preserved foods earlier today (the ones made with the cooked chicken) but it wouldn't alow me to craft them. Still not sure why.
ОтветитьI have my chests stacked, and he has no issue 🎉.
ОтветитьIf you put more chests in Mike's storage and place a bench in that same building you can bang out loads of Bio fuel ⛽⛽
ОтветитьConsidering how manny containers are in that town having only half of them with loot you can consider as worth going to - downsize for is that you need a lot of time to check them all
ОтветитьI think you ave mega loot for the first time. After you ave normal loot when you choose maximum loot and you have less loot each time you decrease your loot bar.
ОтветитьPotatoes go spoil really slowly so if you're relying on farming to generate biofuel than you might want to do something else that rots faster
ОтветитьApartments have a lot of Empty due to how many there are. It keeps some balance going. Even with all the empty, there is a ton of stuff to find.
ОтветитьI would love to be able to label Mike's crates, so he can only put that one type of food in it. That would stop all the searching for food in the crates.
Another suggestion would be to have inventory open to the food pack when opening Mikes crates (like the food prep table does).
Why would you make Mike eat pumpkin halves or canned food when you can easily have him automatically farm far more food than he and you could ever use? Just for role playing? In that case you should also ask the dev if he could have Mike be set to make food, at least canned food, from the vegetables he harvests and create open or glass door pantry shelves to store the canned food on, like the ingot shelves.
For protein, you will have more meat than you could ever possibly use just by farming animals for their livers to make MREs (make a bunch of carts to store the bodies on). Just make a couple of drying racks and keep them fully stocked with some of the extra meat. Once you start making MREs there is no reason to make canned food or eat potatoes. Roughly 1 MRE a day will be fine for the bulk of your food intake and will give the best stat increases.
In a standard town you get around 6 buildings - in one building in the "new town" you get 6 apartments to loot --- with that many buildings having all the containers have loot would be overkill. So the loot is divided between them all - you still come out with more loot than you would in any other town overall. Don't remember who actually mathed it out when the new town was added but it worked out overall to be more than any other town. Yes the constant empties is a bit frustrating so up to you if you bypass that town after getting the tech - many do. Oil changed but not sure if that was before or after your last playthrough.
Glad to see the series back! Love checking each day for new Kage content to watch.
That thumbnail looked so good 😋
ОтветитьI put the crates Mike uses stacked 3 high and I put them in the center of the room so he has to enter the building when they are near the edge mostly he will pull the items through the wall and I am not a fan of that, I make 18 crates and I usually have a workbench and food prep table near so I can convert the items to food and biofuel. I usually plant 3 of each of corn, cucumber, 6 melons and 2 of potatoes, watermelon and pumpkin and the rest onions 6 or 8 depends how you arrange the greenhouse, and I make a full crate each of veggie and fruit cans and onion soups to last the winter and how many milks determine the best ration pack.
ОтветитьThey also modified the wind turbines. Now it produces as much as the wind blows. So I think the solar panel is better.
ОтветитьI’m having issues with Mike. I had to build my NPC house and Town Hall on a suspended platform due to the land where i am living. I hav 2 sets of stairs coming down to the ground level but it does not seem like Mike will do any work. Is he not able to pathfind down stairs?
ОтветитьIf You have a problem with what Mike will eat You always have an option to put only which food You want him to eat to the chests accessible by him, right?
If You want him to only eat slices of pumpkins put only them to "his" chests as the food for him.
Although it's true that he will probably just eat the food from the farm plots he harvests then... but still it should be a much smaller portion than what both of You harvest.
I dont feel like every single container should have loot. I thought that was normal lol
ОтветитьYes, 100% you can stack chests for Mike. I have mine stacked 3 high and he uses them all
ОтветитьKage you can put his food in npc storage box and your food in the other storage boxs
ОтветитьRE: Looting...
Ya know, you could do a montage style clip of a loot run through a town, at like 150%-250% playback speed, and drop back to real-time if you come across something noteworthy.
Fruit salad increases your stats, well worth it
ОтветитьMike will still work with the chest that are stacked
ОтветитьNow kage knows why everyone said to not bother with the apartments and don't expect loot since it's a work in progress. Mike has always been able to use stacked creates the issue was with him and his tasks and not being able to locate the item resulting in him having issues with eating so be careful with him being unable to do tasks. Also the can foods are beyond worth it as the time it takes you to raise animals to get the bonuses you can grow the food 10x over they also only require you to water unlike animals which requires food which requires them to be watered to get the food for them on top of that it takes time for animals to mature then it takes like an 1 real life hour for them to produce something.
ОтветитьIt's a survival game. Quit crying about loot ya big baby. I usually love your vids, but god forbid everything isn't handed to you. Geesh
ОтветитьI was wondering are you planning on getting the generator
ОтветитьHello Kage! Most excellent on the greenhouse and Mike is the MVP fer sure! Cool on the loot run. All in all another stellar episode of full on Kageness. Thank you for all ya do. God bless you and the family. Take good care of the kitties inside as well as the outside ones! ~John
ОтветитьI'm really enjoying this series.
ОтветитьCrossbow also 1 shots the zombies if you shoot them in the head which is fairly easy when they run at you
ОтветитьWhen GE raided that town without the perk it was the same with him. Some of them didn’t have stuff in them.
ОтветитьYou should definitely do more of the food and cooking like your earlier seasons. Only potatoes is boring.
ОтветитьYou're going to have such an abundance of food that I wouldn't worry about Mike eating anything
ОтветитьPersonally I don't care about seeing the looting, unless it got tech pages or something important like looking for the NPC or the truck and stuff I always put it on x2 speed if I don't skip it all together, ik looting a big part in this game but im much more interested in the base building and stuff, now if you just made a video about exploring the map and seeing some cool spots id be down for that lol
ОтветитьI stopped watching a while back so im questioning why do you use ai image and not the screenshot you did before?
ОтветитьTwo veggies salads and three meat is what I usually eat veggie salads are super easy to make with the greenhouse and Mike
ОтветитьTake items to make spikes with you to each town. Use one set like a defensive wall. Also, I believe loot respawns every ten days (1, 11, 21, 31...). Enjoying the series.
ОтветитьGreat playthrough
ОтветитьYou're probably going to want more than 2 barns
ОтветитьNo you can’t use the chest rack but yes you can stack the NPC crates
ОтветитьNo on the potatoes
They're good, but i think you're going to need lots of onions when you get to making the MRS
Now unless I am not remembering correctly, you didnt loot this entire town. You came in got the flask and did a couple building but then didnt do anything else. You would have to either go to a building you did look (one of the apt building with rooms on each side) or peek in a town you looted already. I wonder if getting the looter perk just removed "bad" items from containers so they are showing empty and since they haven't been looted yet there is nothing for the code to respawn? Great video by the way!
