I only believe in the bible of king James Rodriguez
ОтветитьVery helpful, thank you!
Ответитьwe dont need orthodox- , catholic-, lutheran-, protestant-, etc. christians
we need jesus christians
I went to the church just to visit and felt really rejected. No one greeted me or said anything. The bishop even told me not to approach when everyone stood up during the service, though I’m not sure what that part is called. It was ironic because the theme of the sermon that Sunday was about welcoming strangers, and I was exactly that—a stranger. A verse that comes to mind is Hebrews 13:2, which says, 'Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.' I wasn’t going with bad intentions, even though I wasn’t interested in becoming Orthodox; I just wanted to learn about the church. There was a fat man singing and staring at my brother and me in a very rude way. I hope this never happens to someone who genuinely needs faith and that they are more welcoming. I would have actually liked if they had invited me to something. Even when I visited a Buddhist temple, they gave me a pineapple 🥲.
ОтветитьUkraine is future Zzzzzzionist settlement Khazaria new Jerusalem.

I have been babtized from Catholicism to Orthodoxy the true church since 1995 My Journey began when my future husband would talk to me and explain things to me The very first Orthodox church I went to was Holy Trinity in Randolph NJ with my what was at the time my friend Thoula( I married her brother ) and her parents and another friend Nancy i knew i was in a Holy Place that day and fell in Love with Orthodoxy 2 years after i was baptized Eudocia and i married my husband Phillip a few years after that i was married God Bless your Sister in Christ Eudocia Paxos
ОтветитьSo lots of things to do…but where is Jesus Christ? Did you even mention His sacrifice 😢
ОтветитьWhy mock the baptist and no one else?
ОтветитьI watched with an open mind. This is referring to a cult. So many rules and exclusions. Jesus is not about this.
Ответитьi want to converct but i am 12 and dont have a otrhodox curch near me :(
ОтветитьI don't understand the issue with mixing eastern and western garments/vestments. Can someone explain this to me?
ОтветитьI have an issue in that I don't know if I was Baptised into a Church of England Church when I was born. My mother said I was but I have no evidence of it, no photograph or other evidence. Would that be a problem?
ОтветитьSo Orthodox Christians are Catholics
ОтветитьQuestion. So believing in Jesus is not enough? Just because someone is not Orthodox they are not your brother or sister in Christ? I'm asking this because I'm researching orthodoxy.

ОтветитьI currently go to a non denominational church and want to join the Orthodox Church. I’m 16 and unfortunately my parents would think it’s a cult or very extreme and wouldn’t let me join. I go to college in a year and a half and am thinking about going to an orthodox there especially because there are no nondenominational churches near campus. I get very excited about this but also very nervous. I was wondering if anyone had any advice?
ОтветитьIm a methodist Christian, my father is a pastor, I grew up in Christianity and was baptised. Ive always felt like there was more and wasnt on the true path, im planning on attending my local Orthodox Church this Sunday, I'm super nervous after attending a baptist church for years but i look forward to see where this will take me
ОтветитьThere is one orthodox church nearby, but they minister in church slavonic. And I don't know a lick of church slavonic.
Ответить333 thousand and 333 views. Ok, Im listening...
ОтветитьBible Verses Refuting "Orthodox" Heresy:
Based on the provided search results, here are some Bible verses that can be used to refute certain aspects of Orthodox theology:
Scripture as sole authority: Orthodox theology emphasizes tradition alongside Scripture. However, the Bible teaches that Scripture is the sole authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Revelation 22:18-19).
Justification by faith: Orthodox theology tends to focus on union with God rather than justification by faith. The Bible, however, emphasizes justification by faith alone (Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16).
The role of the Holy Spirit: Orthodox theology places a strong emphasis on the Holy Spirit, but the Bible teaches that the Spirit’s role is to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8-11), rather than to deify humanity.
The nature of salvation: Orthodox theology views salvation as deification, whereas the Bible teaches that salvation is a forensic declaration of righteousness through faith in Christ (Romans 5:1, 2 Corinthians 5:21).
The canon of Scripture: Orthodox theology includes the Apocrypha as part of the canon, whereas the Bible itself does not recognize these books as authoritative (Luke 24:44, Acts 28:25).
The interpretation of Scripture: Orthodox theology often relies on tradition and the teachings of the Church Fathers to interpret Scripture. However, the Bible teaches that Scripture should be interpreted according to its own internal principles and context (2 Peter 1:20-21, 1 Corinthians 2:12-13).
Some specific Bible verses that can be used to refute Orthodox theology include:
Ephesians 2:18, which emphasizes access to the Father through Christ, rather than through the Church or intermediaries.
1 Corinthians 11:2-3, which teaches that the Church’s traditions should be tested against Scripture, rather than the other way around.
Hebrews 1:1-3, which emphasizes the sufficiency of Scripture as a revelation of God’s will, rather than relying on tradition or the teachings of the Church Fathers.
Revelation 22:18-19, which warns against adding to or subtracting from Scripture, emphasizing its sole authority.
So I was baptized when I was a baby in the Methodist church, then when I was a teenager I got baptized again in a pentecostal church, not knowing this was a sin. Now I'm on the path of becoming part of the Orthodox church. I'm afraid that I committed a very huge sin by willing getting baptized again. Though I did not know this was a sin until this video. Will God view this is a major sin?
Ответитьhi, i want to convert, i have believed in god and jesus as saviour and went to catholic primary school, I haven't read bible really but i am reading 2 pages every day and pray everyday, I wasn't baptised so what advice would you give me for first steps, in way of reading bible first and then going to church for first time or other way round

ОтветитьSo you know do comunions only if you have fasted for a period of time like holiday fasting can be with fish and plants or plants and no fish and oil(this is called fasting on water)
ОтветитьWhen i was a dumb child i told my mam that god doesn’t exist and that i don’t believe in god i heard this is an unforgivable sin and i feel terrible about it
ОтветитьSadly there’s no orthodox churches where I live but orthodox is growing in the US. I’m proud to be an orthodox Christian
ОтветитьAs as protestant who started to question and is becoming interested in eastern orthodoxy, this video is very helpful. Im very much lost and confused in my spiritual journey, I admit, being unsure about the truth can be scary and bring anxiousness. Nevertheless, I ask for prayers so I could find the right path
ОтветитьThe phrase Orthodox Christianity makes sense, but the idea of praying to anyone aside from God/Christ seems like idolatry
Ответить6 phases to be in the body of Christ? Not biblical. I thank God for the Truth He made clear in his Word: Romans 10:9-10. No phases no sacraments no man-made unbiblical traditions.
ОтветитьThe priest trumps , yet if you don’t feel the priest is taking your journey seriously you can go find another? What happened to listen to the priest first and foremost?

Ответитьinformative
ОтветитьI'll save you 25 minutes, Just believe everything your Clergy tells you. Do no reading yourself and do not read anything outside of the Bible.
All set. Your Welcome 🤗
I grew up Americanski. I listened to hella heavy metal music. Heavy metal music is very christian in theory. It brought me to god.
ОтветитьI was Chrismated last week. I came to Church over 3 years and was a catechumen for a year and 7 months. If this is truly what you want in your heart you will keep coming back no matter what. You can do it!
ОтветитьI am Atheist and don't want to become an orthodox Christian, but I love learning about christianity specifically. Thanks for the video.
