I am thinking about Private Label. However, why use Private Label as oppose to wholesale with an already established company with a brand they are already familiar.

Hello Abby, on the first point (lack of branding) if I am differentiating by colour and bundling, do I still have to have my logo in the actual product?

I am doing a silicone product and if I want the logo embossed / engraved into the actual product/silicone, it’s a minimum order of 1000units with every factory I’ve spoken to. I don’t have the money for this.

So I’ve asked them to put a sticker with my logo on the outside of the bag packaging instead and they said they can do this. Do you think that will be good?

Would you say it’s okay to start with 100units?

I was thinking to gage my sales over the first week and if it’s selling fast I’ll order more. The factories have a 2-3 week shipping time so I’d get more stock within a month.

Im asking as I don’t have money for more than 100 units. I’m a single mum that’s been applying for jobs for 18months now, and using some savings to start my FBA business. So ordering more than straight off the bat is literally not possible for me.
