How are British Challenger 2 tanks being used by Ukraine?

The latest long range attack on Kiev together with the surrender of Ukrainian troops in the Kursk area point to Russia teaching Zelensky a lesson.

The reason Ukraine doesn't use tanks as the tip of their attacks is that they can't achieve air superiority. As long as Russia can take out tanks from the air from behind Russian front lines, without Ukraine being able to take out the Russian aircraft, putting tanks at the front would be wasting them.

I have seen at least four different Challenger 2's destroyed, and one is at least captured.
That leaves 9 for them in operation if given 14.
Two of the Challenger 2's got their turrets flying on the orbit after drone hits.
Three had turret penetrated from the front, thickest armor it has, and by side by a ATGM launched from KA-52.
Two should be damaged in last week strikes, but estimated to be repairable.

And Abrams, Leopard 2's etc have not survived any better when ever those has been taken to frontlines.
At the rate how many engagements and how much combat time these have, these are far worse than the T-72's in the frontline.
But this Ukraine conflict is handled by all other tanks than by the MBT. The primary tank class in the operation is really IFV, as various BMP-s and Bradleys are handling situations far better. But those get destroyed as well if exposed too much, why Ukraine isn't really exposing them that much. And primary AFV class in use are common wheeled armored cars, APC's etc.

'Not an attack on Moscow' - but the way the Ukrainians are progressing (probably NATO as well but its kept well and truly under wraps) and the willingness of our weak leaders to stop them using our weapons in their hands on Russian soil soon will be an attack on Moscow - Im not sure how long Russia will hold back before they retaliate on countries supplying these weapons that are attacking their coutry... then its all out war........

For anyone that's interested, two of the Challenger Tanks sent to Kursk have been destroyed by Russian forces.

They are being used as bullet magnets and dumpsters.

So when russian tanks arrive on our shores or Iranian drones will we then admit we have picked a fight we cannot win

I believe the challenger tank holds the record for the longest ever kill. So they can knock out Russian tanks before they can effectively be fired on. So they are only about 12 in number but may sometimes shake up advancing Russian armour when they still feel relatively safe
