This is the problem with our towns don’t listen to those ignorant town people it’s all about money they are the worst people anything government is bad as long as they get what they want there morons!

I believe that in general, Code Enforcement Officers are allowed to enter your property without a warrant. IF they have received a complaint, which is a public record that you have the right to request a copy of, or if the Officer can observe an infraction from a public area, such as a city street, county road. They are not allowed to drop by and look for infractions. Council members, elected officials, etc, absolutely NOT, they were trespassing if that is who stopped by. Get a copy of your local zoning and codes for structures and property limitations to see what,if anything, you might have not adhered to and make a list to go over with the Code Enforcement Officer to make a plan together for taking corrective steps. If there is no Code Enforcement Officer for the municipality/county you are located in, then I believe that you will need to deal with the Massachusetts State Board of Zoning and Codes. Familiarizing yourselves on what you "are up against" is the first step. They hope that they can intimidate you via your ignorance. Best of luck to you.

Don't know what state you live in, but in Tennessee if you have a residence and don't have a no trespassing sign in your yard people can still walk onto your property. It is legal backing for you. Just a thought. One day you will want to live here full time. If so, it's yours time to decide.

A couple of suggestions:
1. By all means start filming any interactions when someone trespasses on your property.
2. Ask for a warrant.
3. Don't talk to anyone or give them any information whatsoever.
4. Call the police.

General townspeople and Town council people cannot just come on your land.

And there's a tremendous amount of paperwork on their end that will have to be filled out approved and presented to you.

If you're not there full-time, there's a pretty good chance someone would show up when you're not there. Make it look like you're not there.

Document everything.

And if you can't afford an attorney sign up for one of those attorney services where you pay a monthly fee and you can get particular levels of advice. You also get discounted legal services.

There's a principal here and I fully understand if you don't have the energy or the means to resist, but someone's got to stand up for it. I wish you good luck.

Any real estate attorney can solve this problem. Bro its black and white, a lawyer can tell you what to do. You suould have called the police on their tresspassing. Dont guess, just use the law. Was there any bylaws signed upon buying the property. You do realalize that making this video hurts your prospects of selling the property for top dolllar. Document all visits to and from the property if you are limited in time on property.
