I also loved the design of it. My big "educated" guess for price is probably 500$ but we'll see. Im pretty sure Sony doesn't want a repeat of the ps3 launch again lol.

The digital console is a pretty big deal to me, I haven't bought a game or movie on disc since 2012. Thank you Sony, very cool.

Horizon Zero Dawn was truly amazing, the sequel is reason enough to get a PS5, not to mention Spiderman.
Just wish they showed gameplay, i need gameplay before i get hyped.

I hearing people on Reddit page that they was talking about Square Enix's "Project Athia" is basically Final Fantasy 16. Main black female character for the first time in years. Anyways, Square Enix was talked about the new FF engine demo for years since PS4 launched and before FF15 was released.

I think you will find the Headset/HD Camera/Charging dock will be sold separately and most likely the PS5 will come with a free 3 months of playstation plus.

We can safely assume Sony will take a hit on the console price this gen, the goal now is to make a console life as long as the 360/PS3
probably with a refresh Pro versions half way though in 4 years time.

Sony want Microsoft to set the price this year too see if they can charge more while still undercutting Microsoft,
I would assume Sony want to release in October compared to Microsoft in November, and Sony want to undercut the price.
Microsoft have a reveal coming up to show case game play, Sony should release another reveal showcasing the games cut from the PS5 console reveal to counter it.

Currently Sony's marketing team in my opinion are playing some great 4D chess, it is very interesting to watch.
I personally expect it to release at $550 - 599 USD.

I told my brother the same thing, after watching the stream and going back and watching the individual trailers Sony posted to their Playstation channel....my tuned changed....I was super let down and ok with the presentation initially.....but not stunned or amazed...but rewatching the trailers my confidence came back....Some of the games shown for me were either jaw dropping or a wow, or damn moment.....that's all I wanted, I needed to be able to see a difference in the visuals though many said their would be no leap this generation.....I was happy.....i believe Sony will release more trailers the closer we get to launch, more to showcase the speed or strength of the PS5....no way Sony put all their cards on the table....they need more ammo for this battle with XBSX....doubt they dumped their clip or ammo all at once...

Around 478.22 pounds sterling according to Google. I'm gonna wait bc I never buy at launch, bit the new Abe's Odyssey game grab my attention. I'm a huge Oddworld fan.

I'll be honest... I cringed when I saw the design. It looked like a set piece from that Oblivion movie with Tom Cruise. >.< However, I'm also a firm believer in not judging a book by its cover; the Super NES was, aesthetically, the ugliest console ever created, yet it also had some of the very best games of all time. So long as the games are good, I don't really mind what the console looks like.

Hi Dizzie, been a while lol. Work... just bought a house... I don’t mind the design at all it looks good and certainly the SSD is of course the most important part of this console to me. Working in the IT industry we just can’t sell a computer without an SSD. I’m surprised none of the games leaped out to you. I’m most excited for Horizon Forbidden West. If you’ve never played the original it is a must. Spider-Man, RE8, and even Project Athia has me interested. Any which way everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I’ve been such a PlayStation fan since I was a kid in the 2,000’s. I’ll always buy the next gen console. Hope all is well! 😀
