Thanks for having me on the test, was good fun getting to ride at sweet lamb. A Great venue with a little bit of everything for these adventure bikes.
ОтветитьMCN does the best shoutouts by far. I really enjoy all the effort you guys put into these videos. The advice and opinions are solid. Good stuff guy, you are the leaders.
ОтветитьWhy didn't they include the Africa twin ,because it would be the best dirtbike there ,maybe not the best road bite
ОтветитьHonda Africa Twin and harley PanAm is missing😅😅
ОтветитьThe truth is that most adventurer riders dont ride their bike off road. Partly because they are too heavy.
ОтветитьI used to have 1290 sar. Riding 890 adv r. I tested a gs and I thought it’s a German tractor. Never been on expensive Ducati but used to have a triumph 800 xc. SAR is my favourite
ОтветитьI instantly realized in the beginning of your video who the winner was because you had the other three bikes on one side and the winner bike on the other side.
ОтветитьNice! BMW 1.45, Ducati 1.43, Triumph 1.39 and KTM 1.34...Amazing! Thanks!!!
Ответить402 Sincere Haven
ОтветитьDid you notice the only one he was jumping was the KTMs
ОтветитьAbsolutely brilliant test.
ОтветитьI have the Triumph Rally Explorer and love it first ride with it was 10 hrs through mountain passes of BC and I wasn’t tired or sore. The 30 liter tank is great as I didn’t stop once except to fuel up and that was 500 km into trip. I also have a Harley street glide and now this bike takes front seat from my cruiser. Even though they are different the triumph is just more fun and the bike is truly effortless while riding.
ОтветитьNobody wants these heavy pigs anymore. They are road bikes with knobby tires. We want a lightweight adventure bike at 350 pounds. Make what we want, stop with this crap. WE WANT MAJOR JAPANESE
MANUFACRURERS TO MAKE CHEAP LIGHT ADV BIKES
No mention of the Triumph stalling issues…pain in the arse.
ОтветитьThe KTM is an absolutely superb bike on and off road
ОтветитьAwesome! Perhaps a weird question, but do you dare to offer a qualified guess as to what the time would be on this track for a Honda CRF300 Rally? Would it be close (since it might be faster on the offroad sections) or much slower?
ОтветитьCool comparison... ! Can you please confirm if KTM 1290 was in Rally or Offroad mode? Thanx, Marika from Jhb, ZA
ОтветитьRode my Bmwr1250gsa around Australia in 2023/24 did 36,500klms and took bike off road plenty. Great all rounder and carried me and all my gear for 13 months. Best bike I've owned and most easiest bike I've ever ridden. Thanks for test though enjoyed the comparison. Note, my bmw doesn't have electronic suspension.
ОтветитьBig adventure bikes just do not belong off road. Stop being stupid your all very experienced riders. For the average riders will trash themselves and there expensive stupid fake off road bike. Stop promoting these big heavy fake off road bikes to average riders. There so unsafe off road
ОтветитьIs there any video where I can see the Africa Twin on this course with timed test ??
ОтветитьGreat video , I have owned the Africa Twin AS.. and the GSA , I am just waiting to pick up my new KTM 1290 SA R
Looking forward to it now lol
REALLY would have liked to have seen the Africa Twin DCT in this time race , it would be no slouch in this area im sure
It has to be said , the guy talking at the beginning has lovely woman's legs , It makes me want to get a grip of him 😘😘🤣🤣🤣😜
Ответитьthats just advert for triumph... u cant be faster than ducati... no chance 😂
Ответитьperfect report , i tried and owned all this pikes and i kept the KTM and the Triumph
ОтветитьVery interesting test. Which showed a lot of what many probably expected. Thanks for it. But I don't agree with you that you can't ride monster long trips on a KTM. I have ridden long stretches without feeling marked or smashed and in all kinds of weather. KTM's comfort as a pure Adventure Bike on long adventure trips is far better than the test shows.
ОтветитьI want them all
ОтветитьGive me the KTM performance with the Transalp comfort and I think I'd be signing some paperwork.
ОтветитьEpic test. Thank you!!!!!
ОтветитьKtm for hooligan drive s version
ОтветитьCan you do a 2-Up 2024 Adventure motorcycle comparison?
ОтветитьWheres the africa twin ?
ОтветитьWas the BMW in Enduro Pro mode on the test run?
ОтветитьThis was a really weird video for me - Neevesy sounds like a 70 year old man!! This is the same guy that just got an 80s GSXR.
ОтветитьWhere is Africa Twin?!?! You can't test the best adventure bikes and then not have Africa Twin in the video...
That's like making a video about testing F1 cars and then not having Ferrari in the video...
Should have tried the non adventure GS. It's a bit less unwieldy off road. Great review though!
Ответитьthe ktm is like a suzuki rm80 with 160hp offroad, it's ridiculous, there's little difference onroad between the 4 bikes, but offroad it's no contest the ktm is an actual dirtbike, but the ducati wins because it will mop the floor with the others at a track day
ОтветитьPSA …… chickens..t Brit……….. ????
Ответитьyou can put the time you want who will know ?
ОтветитьCurious what suspension settings were on the r1250?
Ответитьwow nice video. tyres??
ОтветитьSince this is ADV bike test, try that with 70kg of weight and panniers...from London to Istanbul. That is a proper short-run ADV bike test.
ОтветитьKronreif - Trunkenpolz - Mattighofen. “K T M” Don’t be scared just Sub-di-vi-de! SUBDIVIDE!
ОтветитьI don’t see the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 cc. What happened? “H-D” Panamerica EXCLUDED?
ОтветитьI would love to see the smaller ADV bikes do this course with a stop watch. That would be a very interesting comparison to see if the lighter bikes with less HP can stack up, or maybe even surpass these big bikes.
ОтветитьThe only two bikes here worth taking home (if you can afford them) are #1) Ducati V4 Rally Multistrada for more brass knuckles Dakar brute KTM 1290 SAR.
The rest of them can go.
BMW is the besth.... Foda-se
ОтветитьIt would be interesting to see them all fully loaded up with kit for the same test.
They are built to carry.
Where was a great bike? The Yamaha Super Tenere? Add the usual mods, pipe, intake, flash and the bike picks up 10-15% more power. You're rep for objectivity is shot MCN.
ОтветитьWhere is Tenere 1200
