I just got a new prescription and I have some new frames. How would I get neochrome lenses from you. And what's the price?
ОтветитьHi Dr D..one question here..can lenses' various indexes affecting the transitioning effect from transition lenses?max darkness level and light transmission and etc..?
ОтветитьBut really....who just wants to get back to work?
ОтветитьWhich gets the darkest polarised or xtraactive?
ОтветитьI see that the Driving one's are polarized but don't lighten and the xtractives aren't polarized but lighten up and are somewhat recommended for driving which I was looking for glasses that are polarized and lighten up so the question is can I get the polarization in auto darkening glasses or are we stuck with polarization in only sunglasses and not in auto darkening eyeglasses ?
ОтветитьThank you! For this
ОтветитьGreat video! Brown Neochromes are my first choice so far!
ОтветитьI love all What is the brand and ## of the Gen 8 Tortoiseshell..?
ОтветитьThank You Very Much!
ОтветитьThanks for your video, was really helpful. I just discover your channel and already love your videos.
Ответитьwhich transition polarized lens would be ideal for an active person..ie golf?
ОтветитьWhich Zeiss photochromic lens that has the darkest tint and at the same time transitions fast either to clear or dark when exposed to UV?
ОтветитьYou didn’t even show how dark they got crazy
ОтветитьThis is honestly the worse video I’ve seen that provides information about the different types of lenses. It’s a complete waste of time.
ОтветитьThank you for the great review!
ОтветитьThanks~
ОтветитьAny idea who makes photochromic lenses for Eyemart express?
ОтветитьHow does one buy the neochromes? I can’t seem to find information on how to buy these lenses online.
ОтветитьTransitions seems to have added a New Generation of XtraActive lenses claiming to "Transitions XTRActive new generation lenses are darker, clearer and up to 35% faster to fadeback compared to the previous generation.". Would be great to have an updated review for 2022.
Thanks for the great work on the video!
I’m currently wearing the Eyezen+ Active 0.6, Transitions Gen 8 (in Grey to match my black Ray-Ban frames), along with the Crizal Rock coating.
ОтветитьI live in Tampa Florida, I have some photochromic glasses that don't get very dark at all most of the year in the FL heat (basically useless), they work great for the one month of "winter" weather we get but I was wondering if any brands function better in high temperatures? Thanks!
ОтветитьHow about the blue filter?
ОтветитьGood test! However there’s some serious limitations. You’re not objectively measuring light transmission. So to say one product “gets dark” as fast as another is subjective. Same with the fade back; if one lens is starting from less light transmission then that makes a difference. Also, what % of light transmission is “clear”? If you can get equipment to measure that it would be great!
ОтветитьI would like to see a comparison of how they change inside of a car and how dark they get.
ОтветитьThanks. Very informative.
ОтветитьPls can u make a video on Bluelight lenses?
ОтветитьAbsolutely incredible video thank you so much
ОтветитьI watched lot of videos in this subject, and this ine was the best. And it happened to be I am moving to NC on February.
ОтветитьEssilor has merged with Luxottica and has become a super monopoly of sorts. The prices of new eyeglasses have become obscene. I'm currently searching for a pair of eyeglasses that I prefer, for less than $1,000! Insane what this industry has turned into. For 2 pieces of plastic that cost $20 to manufacture. Same for the frames. Outrageous.
ОтветитьWhat about trifocals?
Ответить13 minutes video without properly displaying the visual difference between photochromic and transition at 100% strength. Can you imagine.
ОтветитьHow many years until the lenses totally loose their ability to change colors? Or perhaps degrade and stay dark even you're indoors
ОтветитьI just ordered my first pair of transitions , got ray-ban frames with authentic ray ban lenses with the transition gen 8. Anyone know how good they are? And are transitions worth it, or should I have just got the clear lenses? Kinda curious know, damn things were pretty expensive.
ОтветитьHas anyone tried glassesusa photochromic
ОтветитьHello Dr.D. Your videos are extremely informative. Thanks for that. I have a one question. I wear bi-focal prescription glasses. Can I use transition Xtraactive transition for bi-focal lenses ?
ОтветитьMost transitions lenses are made of polycarbonate... clear polycarbonate have 100% protection from UVA and UVB...
ОтветитьThe Neochromes were not that dark to begin with. The XtraActive Polarized, ive read, is geared toward extra light sensitivity and protects against bright room light too. That may be the reason it transitions slower. I actually like that.
ОтветитьHi Dr D,
Can already made prescription glasses get the photochromic feature added? Or do I need a new pair of lenses ordered? Thank you.
Soooo many options!
ОтветитьToo bad the best ones cant be bought.. or can they? Im confused
ОтветитьDo people really care that much about the glasses not being completely clear fast enough. Surely no one is “sitting at their desk just waiting for their glasses to go clear”! You can still work if your glasses have a slight tint to them still 😂
ОтветитьIf I order glasses online and choose transitions brand name under lens type, does it matter if I choose generic lens material or a name brand material?
ОтветитьCan we wear yellow glasses all the time?
ОтветитьNice video, really understood the type of lenses but the question is, what are the durability (how long will they last) of the lenses Gen 8 specifically
ОтветитьVery surprised by the performance of Zeiss PhotoFusion lenses. Was that the PhotoFusion X or without the "x"? Maybe the current "X" is better now?
ОтветитьThank you for great review. Can we expect any time soon comparison with new Generation S? Thank you
ОтветитьFinally a woman who's impressed by a 30-sec performance ;)
ОтветитьHello! i would like to ask if there is anything specific when it comes to care and maintenance to these lenses? Since they rely with these silver molecule reactions to turn on/off, is there any practice or substance that must be avoided when cleaning them? Thank you!
ОтветитьI love them. But like everything, pricey
ОтветитьAre the transitions lenses completely clear indoors like normal non transitions classes? Or does one of them have a tint that is noticeable in a formal office environment?
Ответить
