Forge of Empires: Unlock the Power of 140 Active Friends! (2024) FoE

As a heavy sniper, almost all of my 140 friends are active players that I snipe. It is a much different approach to what you have in this part. I also made it a point of getting enough nutcrackers in the Winter event so that I was not relying on others for aids as the small secondary event buildings are just outpacing the 80 guild mates + 140 friends + 70-ish neighborhood. FoE Helper and the scoreboard are great tools for finding and maintaining your list. Inactive players aren't doing you any good no matter what your strategy is.

the important thing is adding people you can snipe that level their gb find them and keep them secret and keep farming that fp forge friends.

Friends have a functional value too. Snipable self levellers are always handy to have as friends to keep building your bank. Otherwise, if you're someone with a Truce Tower, you may want to choose friends in a certain era to gain goods from that era from each aid - eg some of my guildmates have a lot of SAT players on their friend list to gain bonus SAT goods to help with the new SAT GBs. Also, you need a full friends list if you've got a decent level Seed Vault, so you can get a whole load of goodies just by aiding people - the Auto Aid button has made this a lot easier to keep your friends aided these days. We need a similar one for tavern sitting too though I find!

go with the nutcrackers instead they give mass aid kits, no more need for people to aid you, and alot of towns need 200 or 300 aid/day wich insnt possible. there are to mnay tiny builds now that need aid and towns are to big. friends are good for silver i agree but not much else.

If you're still worried about friends aiding and polishing your buildings, then you should really place some Nutcrackers that give fragments of mass-aid kits. One of the most important reasons for having a FL, is 1) trading goods, but more importantly, since they chopped GBG, 2) building a list of self-levelers and taking full advantage by leveling your Arc to 180... Score DB is great for checking player activity.

Any snipers get unfriended

Just have 15 nutcracker, and you dont need aids at all. The only reason i would have it is for the 1.9 thread, to get dias from seed vault and i need attempts in ge level 5 and for daily challenge

You need 10lv2 nutcrackers to get a mass self-aid kit/day. That is the way to aid/polish. My main city has over 400 event buildings that can be polished. The max aid/polish from all hood, guild and friends combined is 300. The new event buildings won't be added to the priority auto aid for months if at all so self-aid is the only answer.

So if you self aid then the best use of a friend's list is for sniping. Guild hop for a week and just add players that use swap threads as "friends". They love getting sniped because it's free FP's for them and profit for you. Everyone wins except the people in their guilds who use swap threads. If people don't use 1.9 threads then it's their loss.

So no, don't put your actual friends on your friend list. It's just for sniping.

A true friend is harder to find. Than finding a Diamond in a corpralite field .

You don’t snipe Friends. Anyone on my FL that snipes me is immediately off the list.
