Last Dec we found out I had a then 2mo old nephew in the care of CPS. We thought our family was complete with our 3 kids, but as soon as we found out about this baby, we began working to take him in. It took 3mos, but we began fostering him in March & now our family wouldn’t be complete without him. We are now on track to adopt him in next few months!!! Never expected anymore kids, but we are grateful to have him! 🥰

It’s been more than half a year when I decided to get back on keto diet (which is my third time on it). Having seen my mother go through cancer treatments made me realize how important it is to turn my high carb high sugar life around. Cancer is definitely not a positive thing to have happen to anyone, BUT it can be a motivator to a person going through it or to their loved ones. I’m so excited that I’ve gotten back on track and I really do believe it’s for the long haul. I want to be as healthy as I can be for whatever comes my way. And that is something that is very unexpected and exciting because last 2 times I tried keto… it didn’t stick with me. But now, it’s a different story! 💪🏼
