My V had a lapse into cyber psychosis while I did this so I had V laughing as she melted people with the blackwall

There was only one choice for me. Anything else would have made me feel terrible

Love how after this ending, V and Johnny are both like "Welp. Back to square one"

I could do all that without the BLACKWALL

as fun as this mission was, I think the right choice in the game was to let her die. the black wall seems to be going along with us every step of the way in this ending almost like this is what it wants. other ending the black wall fights us and songbird the whole way. are we talking to songbird or the blackwall in this ending. ?

V became to powerful sad that that turned him/her into a regular now....or..so we think

when the shuttle lifts off and the music starts ... its just heart wrenching

When i played this path through, i've been constantly asking myself: "Was that worth all those lives?"...


In the end i was like: "Yeah, fuck no"

Loved this game and DLC so much. I lived in that world. Wish I could experience it all for the first time again.

Yk, I always had a gripe with this particular scene.
It’s stated that it’s too much to handle with guns and fists but.
By the time I did this quest it was very much within my capabilities to have absolutely crushed my way through this fight without the black wall hacks.
Very cool set piece but I would have loved to go at this fight myself.

This ending is so fucking good cause you get to see the true power of the blackwall and cdpr just knew how to make you hate it so damn much

She kills so many for her own selfishness and lies to get u to help. Wow.

Just finished my ending. Helping Reed all the way but putting songbird down so she won't become a blackwall slave to the NUSA, also cause she asked for it. Less civilians die. Minimized black wall leak. And telling the president it was all her fault and to never fucking contact me again was so cathartic. Even though she was mad she cracked and admitted i helped So Mi and did the right thing. Just not good for the NUSA or more specifcally her goals

Also loved that she only gave me 5k for all that. Fixer's have paid me more. Really fits the narrative for a spy thriller. No happy endings but the world is secure

Its scary how the Black wall appears like Magic. As V waves his/her hands shattering all those who stand before them.

I love the “unleash the black wall” moment.
Shows how completely fucked the world would be if the AIs got loose. Absolutely no way to fight back.

This dlc is amazing, this is what cyberpunk is. A dark world with no happy endings

these quests really make starfield's quests look like dogshit

Harnessing that kind of power is EXACTLY what i wanted out of a cyberpunk power fantasy at the climax of a game. What an awesome scene, and it makes the blackwall even more terrifying seeing the power V gets just from tapping into it with very little prior knowledge of it.

I died dozens of times on this level because I was taking too long to get back to Songbird. I was so busy fighting everything, I didn't catch the "return to songbird" status message. I was like, "How long is this friggin battle suppose to be?!?!" When I finally saw it, I was like, "Duhhhhh!" I was staying and fighting almost triple what I needed to. And it just kept getting more and more intense until I died horribly. When I used the blackwall ability, I was like, "woah!"

I'm a little disappointed helping Song locks you from the new ending. Like maybe they could've added a separate ending for helping her. She had a connection to Johnny through the chip and had a link to the Blackwall. Who else can do that? Alt. A new ending where Alt can sense Song through both the Wall and the chip and just goes "interesting...." and the screen fades out. You wake up on the moon two years later and it's revealed Song brought you up and her and Alt worked together to develop a deamon that managed to wipe out the chip's re-writing program and restore V to his/her own body. That way, you still get the time jump and can even put in the brain damage aspect, like it went out of control and wiped more than it should have.

The black wall is, in fact, just the old internet.

V is just zip bombing everyone with zetabytes of rule34.

Just think how everyone is afraid of the Blackwall and your in this mission and Adam Smasher arrives and you try to use the BlackWall on him while nothing works and instead he chuckles as he proceeds to say "Well who the fuck are you". Personally don't think the Blackwall would work in Adam because he's already a sadistic cunt.

I had my Berserk equipment activated and the cutscene didn't turn it off so I had this amazingly awesome red tint to the screen. Shit was Cinematic

It actually makes sense to send song to the moon and then do the blue eyes ending that sends you to the moon also for the next game. Imagine the shit you'll get upto taking down the corpos with song, V and Lucy

Hate playing as female V so it just ruins the vid.

This black wall shit is really where the game to pull away from sci fi for me. This is straight up magic. I know every citizen (even kids) has implants and ALL of those implants are hooked up to the net... but still. This was just some wizard shit.

the one problem I got with this part is, none of this was necessary, and CDPR didn't make it at least seem like it wasn't just done for the sake of it.
I refuse to buy that an anti material sniper firing outright high explosive cannon shells, or light machineguns, can't do ANYTHING to a helicopter. They could've given us anything, some drone, an armored AV, or even better some kinda futuristic aircraft, but no, they go with something we know, and uh, helicopter blades are very fragile, they'd have to be made of vibranium to not break. from even rifle calibre fire, eventually with enough shots at least. heavier stuff would snap them right off.

And don't even mention the forced stealth, one moment the president's guards can one shot V on sight, (just for the safety of the president of course, wouldn't dare to allow harm to come to even a virtual president of the usa now would they) next moment they just drop like flies to V. like they would. Same with Reed, somehow outright artillery and rockets from smasher I can just tank and not even be fazed, but a pissy little pistol one shots. Yeah whatever.

Now I get that it is all for the plot, but, could've at least pretended to care with something that actually makes sense instead of handing out temporary plot armor to enemies that makes no sense. like on the other side with the killer bot, although that's just scripted too, you could probably pick that apart too but it's at least something you can suspend disbelief on because it's not something that is known and it holds weight if you say that thing can do what it does.

Maybe Lucy will take care of her.

This is what I was expecting the Canto Mk. 6 deck to be like but there's less lightning and hand somatics, and more AI from beyond the Blackwall saying creepy shit to you in your head every time you use it... but people still get fried, including the horrible screams 😨

That scene where she uses the blackwall to kill everyone made no sense to me because I was straight mercing all comers in that fight.

I'd say this is the more cinematic/dramatic ending. The betray ending has incredible gameplay tho and you get more backstory

I see no reason to help Sonbird myself. She is reckless and desperate and while i get that part it makes her dangerous case n point this video and all the carnage. But it did look cool lol

Honestly I prefer this ending over the Reed one... Songbird was the ultimate victim of that whole situation, she deserved to go to the moon and escape.

I wonder what the moon people think, when they receive random dead people.

Wish I could relive this for the first time again, I made manual saves at certain points in the game to replay them, but it’s not the same

Such a pity Myers wasn't around the Blackwall her into oblivion, the absolute just outcome for her.

When I played this mission, I was like, "oh... oh god! She so needs to die. No one should have this power." So, I reloaded an earlier save and went the other route.
