A young scrappy Ottawa team that season that finally got their first taste of the playoffs that year came within a OT loss against Buffalo that year.

Man we got robbed of a Rangers Red Wings final that year. The Rangers were so banged up and injured by the conference finals. Imagine all of the hall of famers that would have played in that finals.
