Some serious misinformation here.
ОтветитьI grew up watching Stan and Ollie in the 70s; all the reruns of their old episodes. I loved these two, and have very fond memories of laughing myself silly at all the fun things they did. They were a big part of my childhood.
ОтветитьTimes were just a lot different in those days. The great ones.
ОтветитьStan Laurel was not at all unhappy in his final years. I was lucky enough that my grandfather had been one of the acquaintances he kept in touch with. He was very happy in Santa Monica, probably happier than he had ever been.
ОтветитьThe film industry has always been a cruel, filthy business. I don't know which word should come first, cruel, or filthy. Stay away from it. Even the people who succeed are harmed by it.
ОтветитьDamn manger ripped them off.all those films and wind up broke

These guys exemplified comedy in its purest form.

ОтветитьYall are awesome thank you for taking me back too my youth,
ОтветитьFun fact - Director Stanley Kramer was desperate to have Stan Laurel in 'It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World' but Stan refused stating that he couldn't do it without Ollie.
Ответить; TIME HAS RUN OUT !! John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Don't ignore this message !! REPENT NOW !! God the Son - JESUS came in the flesh to die for sinners. TRUST that God raised JESUS from the dead !! By FAITH accept JESUS's blood alone as payment for your sins unto Salvation, to escape what's about to happen !! Don't say you were not warned !! ONLY true believers in JESUS will be suddenly taken. THEN comes 7 horrific years of God's JUDGEMENT, poured out on the world. I pray that the LORD will open your eyes and heart to the GOSPEL.

They were both so sick in later years that they should have quit much earlier.
