How I study the Bible *DAILY* in 2024

Truly I say to you the goal is not to ready the Bible but to become the Bible, become the word which dwells in you. For it is writing the Holy Spirit dwells in you. And if the Spirit dwells in you, then awaken to the word and become Him.

As a Jew, I always thought that Christianity and Judaism are very similar, only you have all kinds of little things that you do differently, and then I entered your channel and found out how different it is (for example, with us Satan is a messenger of God and we don't fight him) I would love to know how you define Christianity, I'm not really meet Christians.

I don't know if this method might work for me, since I'm struggling to read in general, not just the bible.
Not necessarily because out of laziness, but rather due to concentration / focusing problems.
Anyways, I think that you come across as very likeable in the video, your language is pretty easy to understand, which I really like and enjoy, especially as someone who's native language isn't English, and you're beautiful too; oh yeah, and cool outfit by the way. 💙
I also think that reading the bible, especially as a Christian, is very important for all of us.

Such encouragement! This was helpful for me! I have read His word 2x already, and I regret not studying a chapter or a particular verse. So I started studying a chapter or focusing on a particular verse and using Blueletterbible (I SERIOUSLY LOVE IT IT'S MY GO-TO FOR STUDYING THANK YOU LORD FOR THIS SITE) and now I'm working on my 3rd time reading the whole bible. I'm studying a lot more. Another thing I do when I study is also read devotionals like Grace Gems their content is a good reminder day by day. Very humbling, reminding, and all in all brings your focus to our Lord and Savior. I really should apply the SOAP method though because I write down the verse and study it but I don't look to apply it or pray on it. Thank you for opening my eyes to this and I will do my best to apply it!!!

I've been studying the Word almost daily for quite some time now, why do I feel so depressed? Why am I still hurting? Why is there no peace or joy?

Jesus is the word and he created all, we can live an entire life, calling him, Lord and casting out demons and his name yet not make him Lord. The only way to have a connection with the father is through Jesus, and if he is the word and spending time in the world is spending time with Jesus, having talks with him is only half the battle

Taylor, one thing you might want to do a video on is - Which Bible versions are easiest to comprehend? Popular versions like - 'King James Version', or 'New International Version' are a little bit tough to decipher, especially for a new Christian. What do you think about the, 'New Living Translation' version? Is it more accurate than either the KJV, or NIV to the original Biblical texts? Beats me, but the NLT is definitely more comprehensive than either of those more popular versions because it was translated like reading a regular American newspaper like the New York Post, or USA Today. Hence, more people will probably pursue reading & studying the Bible if they can understand what the heck it's saying - Would you agree? In the morning, I usually read from the Old Testament and in the evening the New Testament here lately I haven’t been doing my evening reading I need to start doing it again sometimes I do sometimes I don’t. I need to be doing it consistently I know this.

Haven't even started watching the video yet but i just have to say its been amazing seeing how far you've come. I've been watching since you and Tanner were dating and you were modeling. And i remember when you first came out as christian i was expecting it to be just for clicks or views (as a lot of creators do). But its good to see that years later you're still walking that path and giving advice about christianity. I personally have been moved recently cause me and my girlfriend are both in a very deep christian relationship and its good to see that were doing something right. If you dont mind praying for me cause ive been lacking motivation to get back into my bible i would appreciate that, i used to study daily but since i've moved locations for work i haven't dove into the word

Would highly recommend everyone read Women of The Word by Jen Wilkin. It changed my life and how I study the Bible in context. I get so much more out of it from using her method :)

The bible isn't a manual on God for me. It's a manual of finding divinity in yourself and your actions. You can't have meaning without a working value system.
Most of it is not meant to be taken literally, it's deeply philosophical stories to teach you about sacrifice and rewards, and moral choices. I'm not personally religious, but find the bible to be the best moral foundation you could possibly find.

I don't know where to place this and I am sure I might sound crazy but would love to her your thoughts. yesterday morning I was laying in bed resting my eyes. and the words came into my head. "War is Coming" My first thought after hearing those words. Was like a world war type thing. But I have no idea. What is you thoughts?

Nice, at first i just tried to simply read it front to back but by the time i got to around Numbers i just realized i wasnt really paying attention. So after i just read the Gospels and that really lifted me up, than i just started random books that intrigued like Ecclesiastes is one of my favorite. And now finally im attempting to review the whole bible in a chronological time frame because the context behind what happened and what God did in order just opens my mind up to a whole another angle and keeps me interested in every single chapter

The way I read my Bible is: I read the chapter/chapters, think about what I've learnt, I read it agai and think about the chapters again

I didn't know about this Chinese Bible... Thank you for sharing that. Here's what I found about it.

A communist textbook that's being used in Chinese schools falsifies the biblical account found in John 8:3–11. The textbook claims that Jesus murdered the woman who was found in adultery and said He, too, is a sinner.

The textbook, published by the government-run University of Electronic Science and Technology Press, states: “The crowd wanted to stone the woman to death as per their law. But Jesus said, ‘Let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone.’ Hearing this, they slipped away one by one. When the crowd disappeared, Jesus stoned the sinner to death, saying, ‘I too am a sinner. But if the law could only be executed by men without blemish, the law would be dead.’”

Fellow Christians, please impress upon the "new" Christians how important it is to read God's Word. Faith does come by hearing the preaching of His Word, but, as Protestants, we have to test preaching against the Word of God. How do you know if the church you're attending is faithful? Only by reading and knowing what's written in the Bible. As long as you live, you'll never know the Bible well enough. As Taylor suggests, do being reading in the New Testament. When it's time to begin the Old Testament, be sure to start with Genesis. Genesis is very readable, and it lays the foundation for who God is, how holy He is, how the world was formed, how we got here, the high value placed on mankind, why there is sin in the world, why we die, where all the languages came from, the antithesis between the Woman (Church) and the serpent (Satan), the covenant relationship between God and His people, and the promise of the coming Messiah. After you've been through the Bible cover to cover a few times, you may wish to use a chronological reading plan, as the books contained in the Bible are not all arranged in chronological order--there is overlap, so reading in chronological order may help to clear up a few misconceptions of when events actually occurred, or that there were not as many deportations to Babylon as initially seemed the case. As Taylor also said, you get to know the one who created and loved you. This helps develop your living relationship with Him, through the work of the Holy Spirit. Bible study with mature Christians can be so enriching, so don't overlook the corporate aspect of the Christian experience, we're not just individuals, we're the Body of Christ made up of many members. We need each other to survive and hold each other accountable in this dark world.

The Bible changed my life. I was broken, and I began reading the Psalms. God spoke to me and healed me, and I read the Bible from cover to cover, and the Spirit transformed me. The whole purpose of discipleship is to become more like Jesus, and that's impossible without God's Word.

My humble recommendation: Buy a Bible with margins, get humble and penitent, and let God speak to you.

I try to read nightly myself. I've been going through the Word in order for a few years now, and I'm currently on 2 Corinthians! Right now, I'm using a study Bible with commentary inside it, which I love. I read a chapter first, and then look over the notes, which helps me understand and consider the verses in a way I hadn't before. (The notes often cite other verses, which sends me throughout the Bible and allows me to read and study even more along the way.) Then, when I am done, I pray about what I learned, that I might apply it to my life, as well as about whatever issues God's laid on my heart to fix and work on.

Hi Taylor, I have commented on a couple of your videos and I have received a couple of replies back from I'm guessing a scammer. They give me a phone number to contact you with but the funny thing is I have gotten three different numbers. This is why I believe it's a scam.
