Why not consider TSMC? Incredible MOAT, good earnings growth ahead and very good valuation at around 18-19 Forward PE.
ОтветитьNow is not the time to sell
ОтветитьMany people are looking for additional income as a result of the shifting economy, and I'm thinking about investing in the stock market to accomplish my $3 million retirement target. But the recent market meltdown is worrisome.
ОтветитьPat Gelsinger is the one who can save intel, they are stupid to kick him out, now intel is doom.
Ответитьretire or be retired? that is the question
ОтветитьThe government would not give the money unless he quit
ОтветитьI’ve been DCA since 2022 into INTC. I believed in Pat and the long term goals. I was expecting a bumpy ride and willing to wait and be patient. With Pat being forced out, and the vision being gone, I’m finally out. If the board is willing to make sudden, short sighted decisions like this, which I believe is what they did, and with my investment thesis being evaporated, it’s no longer worth the risk to me. I could be wrong but I’m not going to stick around to find out.
ОтветитьSimple answer, holding.💪
ОтветитьIt’s very clear Pat was fired and forced out of the company. Not a good look for the company, extremely bearish on the company probably will increase my short position
ОтветитьIntel has no foundry , they have failed in the fronts they need to succeed in and they are NOT in the top 10 of chips nor capable of beong so, the bail oit they got was NOT becausenof the skill of the ceo, but it just so happened to be in the USA TSMC is now in the USA and Japan each hetting the Chip act funds also, making them the continuous leader, NEBER intel.. they will be spilt up and maybe still be in laptop market..
ОтветитьI like Intel but the brand has suffered a reputational damage with 13th and 14th gen CPU's and AMD eating in the market share.
1 - To late in GPU's market and performance not on par with competition NVIDIA and AMD.
2 - Losing ground in the fabrication business 7 nm and TSMC is on 4nm and going lower.
3 - To late to catch up on the AI trend with Intel Gaudi compared NVidia and AMD.
4- Started building new Fabs in the US but government funds not received yet.
5 - Result getting kicked out of the Dow Jones and replaced by NVIDIA.
Intel Culture needs a change to become competitive again this is not complete Pat fault but prior CEO issues.
Now the board needs to decide to see if it becomes a design company like AMD and NVIDIA or Fabs business like TSMC.
No, he was fired,
ОтветитьI hope this was not a direct result of shortsightedness and impatience of the board.
ОтветитьI think they’ll bring in an executive from TSM to run the entire company.
ОтветитьI think the shareholders & the gov said look mf’ers, here’s a couple billion…Pat’s gotta go fam.
ОтветитьJust when intel received their money from the CHIPS act, he retires. Interesting and suspicious
ОтветитьConsider also AMPX... they have a lot of potential and a healty financial situation , they can just grow
ОтветитьFor now there is no reason to sell
ОтветитьSold all my positions because I don't have that much faith in this company. Im not saying Intel is done completely but considering my personal financial status, and Intels unclear way of running business I feel there are better opportunities elsewhere.
ОтветитьYou might have to wear a red clown nose again for intel before 2025 ends 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIntel $7 share...soon.
ОтветитьHe gave it all! wish him all the best and lots of happiness and health. Danke Pat!
ОтветитьThe people that can't wait for 5 years won; he was the biggest target. I would not be surprised the parts started to sell. Question is if the parts are worth more than current valuation.
Ответить‘ retiring’ lol
ОтветитьWell done getting a video out so hot off the press. I’m in it for the long term- not selling. Intel is a hugely strategic America 1st company which will be the only player with that needed infrastructure. This is a typical day when people panic sell. Intel is just getting started. Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьHe was pushed out. Come on, you really think a CEO in good standing would 'retire' with no fore-warning & without having a replacement ready to step in????
ОтветитьWe have to point out that Pat Gelsinger is at a 63 years of age. He is at retirement level now, usually first signs of aging come at that time and it was probably wise to end before he would get any more complications. Changing early is better than later. Soon battlemage gpus will come out and then 18a node processors and then new fabs in upcoming years. There is still a solid path paved in front of us, we just need patience. It is a long term investment imo. But what do you think?
ОтветитьAnother victim of Moore's Law
ОтветитьThe market liked it… at least for now
ОтветитьMaybe they are being acquired and his services are no longer needed?
Ответитьholding, for now.
ОтветитьI didn't expect Gelsinger to leave so soon either. The main reason is I have no idea who could take his spot. He was supposed to be the one to save the company. There was a lot of enthusiasm when he came in. Unfortunately, many people I know lost their jobs and/or quit in the various managerial reorgs after Gelsinger came in. They all lost their jobs in vain. I feel for the people that are still there now without a clear leader, no profits, and underwater on stock.
ОтветитьSMCI 🚀🚀🚀
Ответитьprobably not a big stretch to think that the new Trump administration had something to do with him stepping down.
ОтветитьIntel would be smart to get Jim Keller as the CEO. The Michael Jordon of microprocessor engineering.
ОтветитьGood Morning, I Sold my entire position after this news.
ОтветитьNu fell like hell, would you cover it?
ОтветитьThey’re probably looking for a new CEO so they can sell intel 😅
ОтветитьThe writing was on the wall for a while! He retired and it was not voluntary. The market is happy to see him in the rear view mirror!
ОтветитьA human sacrifice to the share price gods.
ОтветитьHe was fired for sure ….. after 3 years better results are mandatory!
Intel has no chance against Nvidia and AMD and in my opinion will also fail with foundry Biz against TSMC or Samsung …… THIS IS THE NOKIA iPhone moment for them !!, 🤔
oh no... few days ago I bought INTC, I hope they will find some one smart to run this huge company on next levels and make them competitive again
ОтветитьYou said it : It will take time for Intel to turn the ship. I believe that to be true eventually. But as we stand, there are better more rewarding semiconductor companies out there for shorter terms gain.. 😮
ОтветитьFor me Hold for now, right CEO pick could send the stock 10-20% higher in my opinion, I’ll wait for the reason he bowed out, if it isn’t bad, then for the CEO pick, if that’s good too, might not sell at all!
ОтветитьThe CEO has been fired
Ответитьsame question as always, has something fundamentaly changed with that news?
ОтветитьThumbs Up video/ comments. Xmas Rally expands to AI / Tech sectors. VHAI 9 % Early .. Vocodia... SMCI 22 % rise... NVDA... Nvidia 1 % ...SYM..5 %.. Symbotic and more.
