Can someone genuinely explain to me why people love Gorillaz so much? I get that you can like the characters, the lore, the aesthetic, and that the music can make you feel nostalgic, but it's not great music... It's definitely not bad, but at worst just mediocre. How can you listen to songs like this without the video and actually love it?
