ОтветитьI don't fall asleep to Jim I just need sound when sleeping.
ОтветитьThat Tommy Dreamer getting hit in the balls story is wild. I wish somebody would drain my balls. 🤣
ОтветитьI just realized Brian sounds A LOT like Paul Heyman 😵💫
ОтветитьCome on Cornett. Even when we were kids during the 80s, we knew wrestling was fake but we still loved it. You would have to be completely out of your gourd to think it was real. People would die if it was real.
For instance, if macho man really jumped off the top rope and elbowed somebody right in the head or face. I mean my God he would break their skull.
I find it hard to believe that people ever thought it was real. It defies physics and human anatomy to think it could ever be real. Do you know what happens if you DDT someone In real life? I do because when we were kids, we would fake the wrestling matches but then do the finishing moves for real. And I was Jake the snake and I DD teed a kid and it was really bad. Really bad.
You would have to be a damn idiot to believe it was real
Koko Ware in Memphis had the best Drop Kick of all time "The Goat" Next Question?
ОтветитьThanks, guys !
ОтветитьWe need a new omnibus
ОтветитьStone Temple Pilots is my favorite band, along with Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Queens of the Stoneage, some Nirvana, and the original 60s lineup of The Beach Boys.
ОтветитьYounger Mick Foley was “my type.” Adorable face, messy hair, big tall bear of a man. Even now, Mick Foley is handsome to me (and I strongly dislike beards).
ОтветитьIve started talking like cornette when something pisses me off at work
ОтветитьI don't have the energy to debate anything Corney has to say... I will lose😂
Ответить😂😂😂 No way in hell Austin Aries is 5'9 he might be stretching 5'5-5'6
ОтветитьI love all these wrestling podcasts big time! I also put episodes of this one on before I fall asleep every night. There are so many episodes that I will be satisfied for a very long time. Jim Cornette's is easily my favorite podcast out of all the wrestling podcasts. I have loved him since I was a little kid in the 80's. I was a weird kid. I was always on the heel's side.
ОтветитьI've always taught my students or trainees to keep kayfabe . If you keep it kayfabe you will have more fun
ОтветитьEven though he is a Democrat he ain't full of crap
ОтветитьDude gets blown up by a stick of dynamite and is only down for a 2 count. 😂😂😂
ОтветитьAlso Austin Aries is definitely not 5 foot 9. I used to hang out with him in Clearwater and have been to his place when he lived there and been in the ring with him he's maybe 5 7. MAYBE. I'm just a little bit under 5 ft 11 and I'm quite a bit taller. I wouldn't be surprised if he's like five six.
ОтветитьChris heros story is such a shame. The dude could have been one of the biggest stars and all he had to do was stay in shape. I know it sucks eating healthy and being in shape. I've won bodybuilding shows and I've been 50 lb overweight. I will gain 40 or 50 lb and then lose it 6 months later. I've managed to stay at a reasonable weight the past year-and-a-half. Instead of gaining forty or fifty pounds I might gain like ten or maybe 15 and then get motivated again and I'm good to go and I've stayed looking pretty damn good but if it was my job, if literally I was in a wrestling ring every day training and working at the performance center and in the spare time all I have to do to be on top is just eat relatively clean and work out a little bit. Holyshit it would be so easy. I would do everything in my power. Pay someone to cook for me find a workout buddy food prep. It's not like those guys are on the road full-time yet. Definitely not back then. And it's not like they were even asking him to be shredded as hell. Just drop some weight. As big as he was, and as often as he worked out he had to be actively stuffing his face to get that big it's a damn shame that he couldn't just work half as hard on his body as he did on his skill. I see so many guys in the Indies that are out of shape wearing t-shirts and the reason that they give is because someone like Kevin Owens. Listen it is damn near impossible to get into WWE. No matter how good you are they have someone better no matter how good you look they have someone better but for as few spots as they have, they have even less for t-shirt wearing out of shape people. They already have a Kevin Owens. So you better be working as hard on your body as you are your wrestling skill because most the time it's more important. And at best it's equally as important. There's no excuse if you truly have a dream to be in WWE, to not be in good shape. And who knows the amazing matches we didn't get to see because Chris hero didn't care enough about his body. And it doesn't matter what a wrestlers opinion is. If you want to be in WWE and they tell you to get in shape, that's your boss that is going to be paying you hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars. Get in shape. And if you don't want to then by all means don't be there. But I'm glad Walter is finally getting in good shape as well so that'll be one less excuse for the Indy wrestlers that think it's okay to be obese
ОтветитьI'd order from the Cornette Drive-Thru, but I have a feeling you can't order ahead because the takes are made fresh to order, and once you get the food he's already spit in it and insulted your friends, family, and second girlfriend, all while telling you how you couldn't hold Ricky Morton's jockstrap, and you hear as you go to leave "thank you, fuck you, bye!"
ОтветитьThe Mulkey’s had to have been the greatest jobbers in history. I laughed so hard watching them getting their asses kicked.
ОтветитьJim's knowledge is amazing. His stories kick ass!
ОтветитьGet on the bus mother f’ers.
Ответитьdreamer nuts story killed me..hahah
ОтветитьDoes anyone remember Quick DrawRick MaGraw,... apologize for my spelling,....saw him drop kick Mr Fuji,....he was a little guy,who died in the ring if I'm not mistaking,... but drop him from the top rope..... AWESOME...... but he still lost but..... just.... memories..👍
ОтветитьI really like Jim but why why are you talking bad about Republicans and Donald Trump supporters and voters?? Please tell me that you are not a damn Democrat???? You are from the south man!! How in the world can you be a Democrat And support them after everything that they have done And how they are trying to mess up our country and our history? Joe Biden and the democrats are the worst human beings that has ever been in power in this country and Donald Trump is the greatest president we've ever had And everyone knows it even the ones that hate him!! I mean look at this administration and the people on the left at what they are trying to do Play support and push everything that we have known our whole lives to be wrong being gay Play support and push everything that we have known our whole lives to be wrong being gay, Men changing into women, Teaching our children perverted things in school, And you actually say the republicans lie question part every word that comes out of the democrats mouths are lies man please tell me you're not a Democrat
ОтветитьWoah it opened with someone from white house tennessee! When i stay out in cross plains/cottontown on the border of Kentucky, i drive there to go to the walmart
ОтветитьFaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax
ОтветитьWorthy of another listen 👂
ОтветитьMr. Cornette’s microphone has definitely changed since this.
ОтветитьI miss this version of Jim, when his podcasts were about wrestling history as opposed to shitting on AEW. I dislike modern wrestling as much as the next guy, but it seems like such a waste of his knowledge and talent.
ОтветитьJim is awesome, Brian is a douchebag
ОтветитьI thoroughly enjoy these omnibus
Jim's a great storyteller and that's all that these videos contain is Jim telling stories
Hahahaha....Cornette sounds like he's been smoking a little something something....lol.
Ответитьi loved the headbangers one the best gimmicks
ОтветитьWhat is this omnibus about? Is it just random questions being ask?
Ответитьi remeber the USWA where jarret and lawler fought for years ..............
Ответитьdid jim have a sore throat or something in the beginning ? Also is bobby roode related to rick? someone told me yes and someone told me no......
ОтветитьMan think about it. Dropping 13 feet is a pretty good drop!
ОтветитьJim in 2019: "If they do bring Rousey in the one thing they can't do is make her one of the girls."
Jim in 2022: "Goddammit, they made her one of the girls!"
My favorite Omnibus. I always come back to this, and In The News when I run out of other stuff to listen to. I think it's my 4th run through
ОтветитьThese are great for work
ОтветитьMaven had a really good drop kick.
Ответитьcornette audibly medicated in some of the early clips, he sounds way better now
ОтветитьRandy Ortons dropkick Is a thing of beauty
