I remember reading a book on surfing.. one of the Surfers said the waves are so strong that it's snapped his femur when it collapsed on him.. water is an incredibly powerful force which is why I live in Kansas

In Cayucos we have Mouse, which is a smaller version of Mavricks. A little reef. You still have to brave the sharks and a 3/4 mile paddle.
