ОтветитьWow. Sac state a target for the PAC Who. Sad.
ОтветитьMake another offer for Memphis, Tulane and South Florida
ОтветитьNone of these teams will keep the tourney credits they earn the next two years outside of WSU and OSU. Those credits stay with the conferences that they were in while earned.
ОтветитьIf the Pac-12 only gets $8 mil per school per year, there are going to be some serious problems. Perhaps some schools may leave the conference once the new media deal is done.
ОтветитьMore random speculation without any facts. These are the same guys who claim that the MWC beat the PAC12 to UTEP, yet no credible source ever stated that the PAC12 even approached UTEP. Sacramento State definitely wants the PAC12, but there is zero credible proof that the PAC12 has ever contacted Sacramento State.
Ответить15mil
ОтветитьPAC8 Commish & ADs should kiss the grounds of the TV Executives that will gives them $10Million per school…..
ОтветитьPac only poached USU. The others asked to join
Ответить$1
ОтветитьThere will be no unequal share given to Boise like they had in the MW. This has already been reported on by John Canzano.
ОтветитьStop putting sports on boomer media. Should be streaming only platforms.
ОтветитьSac State. Trash. How about North Dakota State. North Dakota state beats the FBS teams more than half of the time on the road.
ОтветитьDunno why they added Utah St. Terrible.
ОтветитьScott Barnes was the athletic director at Utah State at one time. Just returning a favor….
Ответитьwhen will the pac add utha? good fit but might lower tv value, i think.
Ответитьthe big 10 gets 50 mill per school. big 12 gets 40 mill per school. OSU and Wazzu athletic programs are over
ОтветитьNo Sac State.
Go join the MWC or CUSA
If Non-Liqiified Damages (Poaching Fees) are illegal, then it diesnt matter what the contract language is.
Instead of lretending ro have valid Lefal Opinions, you guys should ask some actual Attorneys about the PAC/MWC Lawsuit.
What does any of this do for setting a school up for any super league?
ОтветитьAny idea why broadcasters say Congress has to get involved with any super league set up?
ОтветитьHeard from a guy who heard from a guy who works in Alamodome, UTSA has 5 year plan to get to a conference like the Big 12…. Sounds like Pac 12 is a stepping stone for those types of schools
ОтветитьUtah st. Is tradionaly a good bball school
ОтветитьWhy not add Montana state and Montana to the PAC12 ? Their stadiums and fans are full of energy and the TV product would be great 🤷♂️
ОтветитьThe Utah State add was a desperation (but necessary) move at the time to break up the 10-team MW alliance. the PAC needed to do this in order to have a shot at swaying UNLV, who had just committed back to the MW BECAUSE it had 10 teams. Didn't end up working out, but it was the right move.
People quickly forget. Hindsight is 20/20
While I agree with a lot of opinions you stated also know that Gould is no slouch either. It should be noted that the PAC has a substantial amount of money for the lawsuit. And lastly, no one knows the amount of money being talked about in boardrooms and your figures are at this point mere conjectures.
ОтветитьThere is absolutely no point and no value to add Sac St to the Pac other than a desperation addition to get 8 members. Otherwise, just add SJSU.
Also, why are you so fixed on $10m? $7-8m is about double what MW teams are getting. It's not big money but Boise, Fresno, SDSU get a nice bump.
“Sources”….you guys have zero credibility.
ОтветитьThe deals will be judged when MW, AAC and PAC all have a new deal before that there is no real comparison possible as the deals are of a bygone era
ОтветитьI remember when PAC thwarted Oklahoma & Texas joining a dozen years ago 😅
Ответить10M per school will not entice any American Conference schools. PAC-12 will probably try to entice UNLV again.
ОтветитьFar as I understand the revenue that is brought in by individual teams in the PAC 12 50 percent goes directly to the team and the other 50 percent is distributed equally amongst the other teams.
ОтветитьESPN wants the Devil
ОтветитьI tried again and both of you failed to give PAC 12 a positive note! A lot of content does not mean good content.
