Interesting! I'm a college professor and we have a bit more luxury because we don't have to work 9 to 4 non stop (for ex., my class is from 7 to 9, and I have a 2 hour break before my next class at 11) so we get to do some work in on those periods. We work a little faster because of parkinsons law- knowing the next class is coming up really speeds me up!
