uAspire Bay Area's My Brother and Sister's Keeper Initiative

In 2014, in response to a call-to-action from President Obama, leaders in San Francisco launched the My Brother's and Sister's Keeper (MBSK) initiative -- a city wide effort to create a cradle-to-career support network for young people of color in the city.

As part of this initiative, uAspire Bay Area partnered with San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) and Google.org to provide college affordability advising to every African American seniors across SFUSD.
