Dave chased him through the neighborhood, yelling while neighbors sipped lemonade, enjoying the spectacle. Just when he thought he had him cornered, Whiskers leaped into a tree, making Dave feel like he was playing a game of cat and mouse. Finally, Whiskers returned home, flopped on the couch, and looked as if nothing happened. Exhausted, Dave could only stare at him and mutter, “You owe me a burger!” From that day on, Whiskers lounged like a king, proving he was no ordinary house cat—he was a furry ninja!
