, I have not ever worked with him or know much about him that’s why I came across this video trying to find out more , I don’t wish to be disrespectful but I also don’t want to start something I’m not ready for , what can I do with these candles that will not bring anything like can I just light them in a way to pay homage and not ask for anything in return I don’t want to do the wrong thing with them

I've received my Elekes and my Warriors, soon. Even before I knew I'd take this Path, I've always felt super close to Elegua. Like, super close. And I've been to people's homes, and their Eshu gave them a sign, like He recognized me. The Baba I went to for a reading, after the reading he said I could talk to him at the crossroads, and I always brought him candy, or a toy. I love him already. He has brought me so much! I can't thank him enough! Does this mean I'll crown him?

@josephbabaifa i live on 16 acres in the country. I'm fine to put Eshu outside but I'm worried about the rain and snow. Does he need to be covered? Should i bring him in for winter?

Question regarding where to place my Eshu, what if you have a home with multiple entry exit points?

I'm laughing at how I'm a child of Eshu and a child of Santa Marta La Dominadora. I'm feeling pulled, called, and guided to learn more about Ifa. Having been invited and called into a new spiritual family and pathway, and being 48 years old, I know I can help and heal my community like I always have. I most likely will not become a Babalawò, and likely not become an Ìyánifa; however, I am coming to recognize that my title is insignificant, as it doesn't matter as much as having my heart and dedication in all that I do.
