After reading manga, I became entirely disappointed with this adaptation. They cut out many characters who appear repeatedly in the story (Such as Medicine Man, Yamashita's secretary, Katahara's son alongside many other bodyguards, announcers, various Kure clan members including Raian's sister, and all but one refferee), reused a shitton of animations (Especially on Katahara's daughter, removing part of her characterisation by having her keep the same outfit troughout the tournament, with refferee and crowd also being extremely repetitive), and overall quality of art also dropped compared to manga, with almost no animation outside combat scenes once coup came to an end (Straight up cutting many scenes, even cutting the other Niko Tokita from the story as far as I'm aware, tho I didn't see the final confrontation with Setsuna in anime so maybe they readded him there).

Plus they added these "techy" introductions at the start of each fight, which look like shit. Whereas in manga the whole fight was under open sky, in natural light, here they made it under nonnatural light for the sake of adding these shitty introductions (Kuroki's before his last fight was probably the worst).
