For terrain I actually like Gravelord Grey and then a drybrush. Works smoother than Basilicanum Grey. For smaller parts or shading metal I actually still prefers Basilicanum Grey.
ОтветитьThe furs on the cloak over the shoulders is called a Mantle.
Cracking job!
I was conflicted about getting this miniature but your video convinced me to get him and the other Flesh Eater Court minis. Thank you!
Ответитьnice
ОтветитьThis is very impressive
ОтветитьStellar and achievable, that's the Mediocre guarantee!
ОтветитьHe is a stunning mini, and once again you did a great job of showcasing an accessible paint scheme. I’ve been thinking he might make a cool base for a demon prince having built one now what do you think Andy would he be very difficult to convert?
ОтветитьYour intro is why I watch your stuff, do-able , something to be proud of, accessible for the common man/woman/painter. Please keep this up. Thousand sons looked like a nightmare, your guide made it easy……….ish! No seriously, it made it very achievable
ОтветитьNever cure your ADHD !!!
Never stops …..
I found your channel while I was trying to find a good tutorial on painting Mephiston. I had seen several videos and while they looked amazing they all felt unattainable for me personally. I followed your guide and was very happy with result. I now watch your videos regularly, regardless if I have or even plan on getting that particular model just so I can learn and become a better painter. So thank you for your videos and keeping it simple for us common folk
ОтветитьExcellent paintjob! Very grimdark feel from him
ОтветитьYou know after watching that intro I have a lot more confidence to paint my FreeGuild Griffon when it arrives. Also great work has always!
ОтветитьAh a fine member of the nobility!
ОтветитьYour style of painting has become myvgo to. I have years worth of plastic that has been intimidating me with fear of messing them up. Some how wasting them. I now have 2 armies painted up. Thanks a ton for everything!
ОтветитьThat's an impressive mini. Good pointers, thanks!!!
ОтветитьI can't wait to receive mine next week. That's when it says I will receive it anyway. Not my preferred skin tone for FEC (mine's a more greyish-blue skin), but wonderful look all the same. Been watching you for a while. Much love from Australia.
ОтветитьAnother awesome video, thanks Andy.. This is why I'm a patron. I'm sitting here building my Mortarch and was pleasantly surprised when your new video popped up and it was Mortarch. I've watched the other tutorials this week and their all very good, but your right their all way to complicated. You did a great job of painting this model with paints I have. Thank you very much.. very inspiring...
ОтветитьThe accessibility of this paint job is great, but what I love personally is the narrative that you created with this scheme. Especially how you did that crown. It makes Ushoran seem so much sadder that he's so lost that he's willing to mutilate himself to maintain his own delusion. Very cool!
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьStunning results Andy! I’m tempted to pick this model up as a painting project at some point. Handy tips as always man
ОтветитьI def want a skin tutorial for the basic infantry ❤
ОтветитьGood work, it is a fantastic model and your guide does it justice.
ОтветитьI've been waiting for this video since GW showed off the model. Honestly before I found your channel I would have been too intimidated to even buy this amazing model but the painting style you show is not only easy to follow but gives a result that looks amazing on the tabletop. Cheers Andy.
ОтветитьThe AoS range the last 2-3 years has been incredible, and I really appreciate content like yours that makes it look like something I would like to paint... And you're right, most other content makes these minis too intimidating, yours makes them manageable. And the final result is wonderful!
ОтветитьYes! ❤
ОтветитьI found that purple is a really good gold shade too. I shade all my gold with Druchii Violet. The model looks great. The Old Ushoran Lore is really sad. He was an good king who only fed on criminals and rival forces who attacked him. His kingdom ended up wired out by orcs and his kin were abandoned by the other vampire bloodlines and degenerated into Strigoi ghouls.
ОтветитьStunning job Andy I'm in awe of this job
ОтветитьI love watching your videos just to learn tips and tricks for painting quickly even if it's a model I have no intention of ever purchasing. I have a huge backlog of grey minis that need paint and your work inspires me to try to chip away at it. Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьAwesome job as always.
I'll take a few things from this video for my model, when I get him, but I have a vastly different method to skin than you, but most of the accent details like the cape, furs and metallics I can easily transfer over. I've only just started my army box, done the Varghulf and 10 Cryptguard so far. I want to start the knights but can't decide how to do the mounts.
That seriously looks amazing, looks perfect as the horrifying character he is!
ОтветитьSeriously scary. nice work and tips
ОтветитьGreat job Andy, looks excellent.
ОтветитьThe nice thing about your painting style is that it's not only just at a good table top standard, but it's also at a stage where if you want to come back later and do more with the paint job, you can.
ОтветитьFeel relieved to see this video! I bought the model and as soon as I looked at it I thought how the hell am I going to paint this 😂 thank you for putting my mind at rest!
ОтветитьLove the paint job dude but why no varnish for protection and the shine of the cape is a thorn in my eye x)
Ответить"Painting for the masses"? I think you should go the full hog and paint miniatures with Dulux (and using a roller)!!!!! 😊
On a more serious note (!), a great job. I used to have a serious dislike of the finish given by Contrast paints. However, your videos and the skin in this video in particular are starting to win me over......
Dude. Gotta stop doing this. Paint job is on point. ‘This’ is what Ushoran should look like. Amazing
ОтветитьAmazing paint job as usual 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьI love your painting!
I am cheering from Japan!
This is absolutelly stunning. Finally an Ushoran paint scheme with almost every colour I own.
ОтветитьYour intro put into words something that I've struggled to communicate in the past. Seeing channels create these works of art is cool and their skill is undeniable, but there is something much more captivating about a video that I can resonate with on a "achievability" level.
ОтветитьGreat video.Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you for this! Makes me not so scared to paint him! I did have an opinion question. I have a tons of red armies. If I wanted to paint my fec force like this yet switch out the red for green…what greens would you suggest?
ОтветитьHey just wanted to say that your vid on Ushoran has inspired me to purchase him and paint him as I really like the model just hope that I can paint good enough for my very noob painting skills
ОтветитьThank you for uploading this video man, I will use this guide for my model which has sat on the shelf since I bought at launch as I was too worried about messing it up
ОтветитьJust one Question, in the Video you used "Darkoath Flesh" but you write in the Description "Guilliman FLesh" which one did you use? :D
ОтветитьLove this scheme just used it for my Ushoran model on my channel 🤌🏻
ОтветитьOk, so which one paint did you use? Guilliman Flesh or Darkoath Flesh?
ОтветитьHow did you do his Hair and his Head Horns? Didnt see it
ОтветитьHey I love your content I always wanted to start age of sigmar and this video made me decide to do flesh eater courts thanks for the amazing tutorial I love the way you don't use air brush and use contrast paints
Ответить
