The Luyties angel isn’t really an angel but was made to look like an Italian actress Herman proposed to that turned him down. He commissioned the statue which he kept in his mansion for years and requested be moved to his grave. I just learned this today

It was a Buffalo..on Clark's grave...very nicely done.

I was out there yesterday 8/8/21, and was amazed. I wish I had watched this first.

Is the Cemetary by the recreational center aka as the police station? I live near by if that is.

This cemetery along with Calvary next door are super haunted as well along with Calvary Road that runs between both cemeterys

I love walking cemeteries. Always have since I was a small girl...6/7 years old. I really love the old graves. This looks like a good one. Do you try and read the stones? That's what l look for on cemetery sites.😊

You just kinda blew past Henry T. Blow without mentioning he helped finance Dredd Scott's legal battles.

I visited that cemetery and Cavalry over Memorial Day, both are utterly breathtaking and I so want to go back. I still cant get over the grandeur and the scale of the monuments.
